Awesome Jeremy! The last picture is hella saturated, you can tell by looking at the house in the background.

also...don't you think the person that made up your avatar should have say "pay-purrrr" since it's a cat? Just thought about that...I dig that song btw.

I have a Mac and downloaded an app for $1 that lets you pick and choose what you want color or b&w in a picture. It's something you can do in PS but I don't have it on my computer and it's much easier to use as well. When I open a picture in the program, it automatically makes it b&w, and then I use a brush and go over the stuff that I want to see the color. After that I uploaded it to iPhoto where I made some adjustments to the sharpness and such.

And yes, it should say pay-purrrr, but it's still pretty damn funny

Hmmm...definitely an idea...I dig the projectors, but not sure about that mod, yet.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Looks cool and I like that the glare is gone.

Ok, did a few things yesterday.

Raised and relowered the car, and for shits and giggles removed something, I'll let you figure out what. Will like put it back on though

Also, been meaning to run a kill switch for the amps for when I want total and absolute silence in the car and figured I'd kill 2 birds with one stone and mount it under my knee panel to illuminate the floor. Happy with that. Will probably do the same on the passenger side for my tailgater switch (although I'll reverse it so it's ON when the switch is off and vice versa since I want it on most of the time and I won't be riding with my reverse lights that often).

Thanks, man. Not sure I'm in for the commitment of having to have body work done to keep it off, so we'll see. For now I put some decals (vinyl and black) over the holes and compounded the area where the wing used to sit.

LOL...the general concensus, huh?!?! I am undecided, I will say, after relowering it today, it does look DAMNED sleek with no wing. Working on a few other mods...

I've also determined (because of the crazy tire wear on the rear tire) that the guys at tire kingdom do not know how to properly set the toe/camber with the 2 arm system. Of course, I have a 3 year alignment with them and no other TK can do my car alignment because they don't have in ground lifts. I'm seriously thinking about taking the camber arms out again...setting the height front/rear perfectly and then having them realign. That way, I KNOW they can handle it. Frustrating, but whatever...I guess I'll sell the camber kit and IF I have the room between tire and rear fender, I'll get a 1 arm TOP camber adjustment.

Yeah, man...it's so hard to find people that friggin take their jobs seriously and do a good job. I swear...I'd rather deal with a little camber wear than have to deal with losing the tires to toe wear.

just go to a big name performance shop and get an alignment with a corner balance. your car will feel AMAZING afterwards.

Probably a good suggestion, I just feel stupid having paid for a 3 year alignment at TK only to have to pay someone else now. But, if it'll save my tires, then I am in.

honestly tho, our 98 accord with 260k miles on it is still on the factory alignment. literally, it hasn't been altered.

the fact the shop can't do it right...well to me that's your explanation as to WHY they offer a warranty. i would give someone else a shot, if it doesn't work out, you still have the free alignments from the other place...i would take the small monetary risk. 1 tire is within $50 of a proper align anyways. your gambling no matter what the way i look at it

Very true. Good advice, my picture editing friend
PS...got a few other nice shots/angles this weekend. Ended up relowering it and taking some clean pics with the way it's sitting right now.

About the camber kit though, I never liked how the 2 armed lower kit brought the bottom of the tire in rather than the top out to straighten camber. I may swap that out and give it another go. I may even talk to their corporate and see if i can get them to buy me another tire or 2. We'll see. Either that or refund me part/all of the alignment cost so I can take my business elsewhere.

sounds like a good idea. you did give them a chance, and a few more. asking for a refund (if not also for tires since that's the true cost of their mistakes) should be easy to get from them. especially with corporate businesses. "I am not happy" always works wonders given the right tone.

no wing + lip spoiler + roof lip + visors = NSFW :snickers:

have been telling you man...loose the spoiler....see if someone in the neighborhood wants a wing....i had a wing and drove down to Tulsa, OK and switched out the trunks (so got the lip) + switched out the bumpers (got the type-s lip) and camber kits and sway bar....all for $400 + the drive....

so find some locals...you will get hell of a deal...i also requested pix of the car before i went down there...wanted to make sure someone is taking good care of the car before i switch things

Yeah man, I've got some experience with cust svc and claims etc and I know you have to go corporate or governing body to get anything done. The old "slams fist on counter" and getting loud approach doesn't work so well anymore.

We'll see...since it's easily swappable (the rear camber kit) I'll try putting the OEM arms back on, seeing where I sit as far as how bad the negative camber is and the stance and how awesome it handles (also will have less fender rubbing sitting low) and make a determination then.

I KNEW you'd chime in, once you saw it off. ha ha...not sure about any of the other mods you listed, I don't like the look of the window visors and I don't smoke anymore so not even justifiable expense for a rainy day anymore, although does make is so I can cruise with windows cracked and it's raining. About the lip spoiler, I really don't care for it much, I mean, it's nice, but I like how sleek the car looks with NOTHING. I may put the spoiler back on. The window spoiler looks pretty cool, but again, for the quality one, that's an expensive mod and also detracts from the sleek lines of the car IMO. I keep all these ideas in my head though...

personal opinion:

the lip makes the lines of the TL very bold....if you see a TL from the back it looks very docile...the minute you add an aspec lip and trunk lip the TL suddenly transforms into something very aggressive....

I think the roof lip and the visors are more of a personal preference....i love the look of the visors on the TL....i recently ended up buying them and will be putting it on....waiting for the paint to dry

and for the roof lip, i love it....i had this vendor on ebay custom make it for us....got her like 60+ orders....the ATLP/Sarona lip was wayyyy too expensive plus it had gaps on both the sides....i took the roof measurements and asked her to make it to spec....everyone was super happy with it and it was only $60 painted and shipped....lemme see if I can get you the hook up (if you need).....

i can't wait to have window visors. the TL should have come with them standard. they look that good IMHO.

i'm a huge fan of roof spoilers as well. as long as they aren't the "duckbill" style

I know a guy that tried to push his opinion on uniformity in the early 40's!!!! Didn't go so well for him

Actually, sure...yes please ask about the roof spoiler, I'd say on the list of mods you mentioned...the roof spoiler is the first one I'd consider...especially at $60 shipped. Thanks for the offer!

About the window visors...I'll give it another look...if I find a set on the BM for cheap, I'd consider trying it out to see if I like it. As a rule though, I think it interferes with the aerodynamic look...but I won't be narrow minded about it.

I'm seriously considering the switchblade key right now...don't know why but I always really wanted that. Also thought about switchbacks...but last time I did it, i thought the amber and white switching didn't look very good to me. I actually bought some once and resold them to Dave on here.

i miss my swittchblade audi key. so clean in your pockets.

x2 on the roof spoiler, $60 shipped and painted? that's an amazing deal. for the s4 it was like $150 without paint and didn't fit well 90% of the times. (discontinued for like 6 years too)

rockstar, what's your name? i'm Sean btw.

Thanks man...well, since you had rapport with her, let me know if she says yes. I'd be interested, especially if fitment and color matched well at that price. If it's a mission or doesn't matter who contacts I can also email her.

I can dig it...I'm going to look up pics of it on a car to make sure I'm sold on it. If I do put the spoiler back on...I think it looks weird with roof AND big spoiler...
