Turbo Kit for Acura TL '04-'08

Has anyone looked into turbo timers. The tuner doing my install is all about them, but I am worried about how my car will stay on without the key. Another concern since I park in a garage, is that I will have to sit there with the car or leave the door open until the car shuts off.
Also it should be wired so if you release the E-brake the timer will turn off therefor the car will turn off.

I suppose if a timer is needed I would look at the remote starter option. Since I have a 6mt, it would have to be left in neutral to get out so it would be that way to start it up.

You just push a combo of buttons on the remote, remove the key, exit the car and lock the door. After the specified runtime has elapsed the car will shut off.

it could be unsafe, but its second nature for me to put it in nuetral everytime i turn off the car. those few times i park on a hill and leave it in gear, i have a switch right under the dash that disables the remote start, incase of an accidental start up.
on extremely hot days, i use the turbo timer (30secs only) when i get out, just so i know in the back of my mind, the cars is 100% in neutral. its so nice to have the ac going for 5 minutes or so before entering the car.

For those of you intent on something of this nature, a preluber would be better. It circulates oil throughout the entire engine and turbo after it's shut down. No additional heat being produced and no worries of someone driving off with the car.

Now here's the kicker the car made that power on 5.74 psi hi recorded on arm boost gauge ,due to the fact we did a quick turbo swap which allowed us to run less boost and gain a little more power at less boost pressure ..........

Still really want to see graphs with both boost and AFR.......

I wouldn't run 255 slicks but I think most Z rated 245-255's should be fine & allow enough spin to not incur excessive damage. I bet most FI guys are running at least a 245 on their TL's.

I've logged 11,000 miles on the NT05 in 255/40/17 size on stock rims.
I can't say enough about these things. They're not that loud. Treadwear is stated as 200 but it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Mine have over half the treadlife left right now which is very good for such an aggressive tire.
Straight line traction is higher than average but they really shine in the corners and braking. Cornering is unreal. Under braking the seatbelt will be the only thing holding you in. They communicate what's going on to the driver better than any street tire I've run on.
Wet traction is no worse than any other tire I've been on and I've had lots of chances to test it lately. Large deep puddles might not be a good idea but I've been through some stuff at freeway speeds that I was a little uneasy about but there were no hydroplaning problems.
Tire manufacturers have learned that the two large channels around the circumference of the tire are actually more effective at reducing hydroplaning than the sideways sipes.
Basically wear is a little quicker than a normal street tire but not bad. Traction will amaze you, I've never had anything legal come close.
Noise is average.
Wet traction is average.
You will never want to go back to normal tires again. My friend just bought a set for his Mercedes AMG CL65 after riding in the TL.
But for pure straight line acceleration you still can't beat a street legal Drag Radial whether it's Nitto, MT, or BFG.
