AGAIN??? I never stopped saying it....I have been thinking hard dude !!! will send you another pic
The pnp runners have to be polished on the head side and ported on the manifold side....this will help with not causing turbulence

I really think I'm going to end up going with the power mods. I just don't think the suspension is holding me back as much as the power is.
So I guess the must order list would be
-3.7 IM/TB
-4" intake kit
-Rear wing
-PnP runners if it fits in the timeline

I don't know. I know the power will help but that's also on a whole different level of cost. You could finish off the suspension for ~$200 (sans the compliance bushings).

I still might pick up a TL-S front sway but who knows...still gotta track down some hoosiers and brakes so we'll see how it all works out. But running for 2 years basically with the same power mods is kinda getting old so I'd like a bit of bump for this season. Couple that with the lighter weight and it could be a noticable difference in lap times.

Hey guys wanted to run some ideas by you for some upgrades I'm considering this month. Looks like I'll get to put some of my tax return towards the car and I'm trying to prioritize what I should do first.
Here's what I'm considering in no particular order:
Motor mounts
TL-S front sway bar
New rear wing (doing regardless)
3.7L IM/TB
4" Intake (probably will do regardless)
PCI LCA bushings
I have an idea what's more benefitical but how would you rank them? Or is there anything mod wise I haven't thought of yet?

I am also a suspension first person. There is just so much that can be done. It just matters how much you are willing to spend and how far you want to go.
Motor mounts- if it is a track only car why not just solidly mount the motor and tranny? otherwise you can decide between xlr8 and innovative.
Front sway bar - TLS or eibach are good choices
There is a 7th gen accord track car on v 6 p. I am sure you are aware of it but I will list some good mods nighthawk04v6 has done to it.
Tubular LCA - chromoly tubing with stainless spherical joints and bearings. These are used by the Honda Challenge/World Challenge cars. They cost a whopping $2k a set. He estimates it drops around 20 lbs per corner. Pic courtesy of nighthawk04v6.
He also has a modified factory knuckle compatible with spherical ball joint. There is also a modified subrame with solid mounting points, and a modified steering rack with CNC spacers and solid bushings that reduces bump steer. All this helps with suspension geometry.
A set of custom tein super racing coils valved for the car.
He also has a nice front splitter DIY on V 6 P. It uses
alumalite.
6 or 8 point roll bar or cage with an x-brace at shock tower mounts. I plan on having king motorsports do this for me.
On my car I can't do all that since I still drive it on the street. I have added poly radius rod bushings, gonna do spherical and poly lca bushings.
I have xlr8 motor mounts.
I have a set of zeal function-t coils custom valved. Eibach front sway and progress rear sway with the fastline performance adjustable end links.
I added some bracing. A UR 4 point front member brace, a cusco front tie bar, and a generic rear tie bar. I am not sure how beneficial it is versus the extra weight it adds. I did notice quite a difference when I installed the 4 point ur bar and cusco at the same time. I also have a harness bar and used to have a c-pillar bar.

^^^ every word he speaks is true....
I have seen Brian's car and it truly is awesome...I would like to do some kind of chassis bracing but I want to first make the sub-frames stiff....

Acura's facebook was looking for "speed" shot of Acura last week, so I gave them this lol

Like Acura, Like the photo, checkout the blog!
BTW, ordering up a 4" Airaid UBI Kit tonight. Looking forward to getting the filter right behind the headlight cover with a vent to feed it absolutely direct airflow.

well done Rex....
porting the manifold will be a bish as its magnesium but so far everything looks good....
did you port the openings of the runners? as I mentioned to you, my runners are 45.xxmm at the manifold side (and them manifold is port matched) and just polished on the heads side (again port matched) to avoid a lip and hence turbulence....

Is there a known pro/con to opening up the injector port area? Obviously there's lots that can be opened up to match the gasket but how does that affect the flow and mixing of air/fuel?

Got just about everything in for the 3.7 IM/TB today and so far so good. Does anyone know if the runner to head gaskets are interchangeable? I ordered up a set of 09 one's just to be safe and noticed they're a lot smaller than the 04-08 ones.
FYI - the bottom openings on the new manifold is measuring about 42.5-43mm's so I'll give them a slight touch up with the dremel and match them up to the runners.
