There is a slight noise increase. It is not raspy by any means. its sound just like the comptech exhaust just got louder. it sounds like a louder G35 when i get on it.

Yeah that is why I had them do the install. I normally do my own installs but even with out the charger it wasnt worth the time and frustration. It was worth the $150 install price they gave me!

Just got back. 228.5 base run, 246.6 after headers on 5AT. It was definately worth it. The biggest of the gain was 20 whp. Base 226.4 and 246.4 at max rpms. Nitro has the dyno paper, he will be posting it tonight or tommorrow. I felt a big difference all the way, she just pulls now. Im loving every bit of it. You guys will be happy

Yea, dont forget that 5at has more of a loss than a 6mt. But yea that was my baselinewith everything. It is about right, my best track time was 14.307 at 99.3mph

246 whp is nice for the 5AT. There's nothing we can do about the torque converter I'm assuming correct?

Nitrotiger will post my dyno papers today. Im going by what the dyno read, and it read a 20 whp gain. You will see I want to see what another 5AT will gain, Baseline and After procats. I do have almost every mod you can get performance wise except S/C. Soon I will be getting the supercharger though.

quick question.. how much power do you think you will have at the flywheel with all your mods including the S/C?

The thing about Michael is that he can get a dyno sheet where he is from showing a second opinion. The cats look a ton better than the first pics thats for sure.

anyhow, thanks for sharing your experience.

Is anyone going to test this thing on a stock 5at TL? Everyone that has jumped on the dyno have mods. I want a before and after on a stcok TL so I can see what the down pipe is putting out itself.

All I can say is that I am looking forward to getting my system this week sometime. I will get it installed asap and have the full run down afterwards. Mike from E-shift has told me that that they should arrive this week. I expect to acheive the same gains everybody else has though.....will definately let you guys know though!

Mike if you get your car dynoed right after the install, have them do three runs for the computer to adjust. Each run you will see better gains, and the third run you should be at 20 whp more. For my car the first run after was about 10whp gain, second 15whp gain and third was 20whp. Now I would like to see the #'s after they have been on for a few days. I think blktl1 is going to go back to the dyno to see what the gains were after a few weeks. I wish I had gotten the manual trans after seeing the #'s. But from what I hear if you supercharge an auto it could be better than 6mt cause the rpms stay up there.

I assume this is what the kit includes:

2 primary cats and 1 secondary cat.

The OEM piping will remain in place.

If this is incorrect someone please specify.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Guys,
This is Mike Miranda owner of E-Shift Performance LLC. I have been in the Import industry for about ten years. E-Shift Performance is a new company in business for about seven months, but, my prior experience is with managing SPI PowerExcel. With that responsiblility it allowed me to be in the designing, fabrication, Dyno tuning and installation departments. We have developed and installed different power related systems such as Turbo Systems, Twin Charged (Mini), Nitrous Systems and engine development.
The E-ProCat was prototyped for “Nitrotiger” as per his request. Again, this was a one-off design that after it’s installation and test results, he urged us to let it be available in small amounts to the guys in this forum. With that said, we needed some form of confirmation from the group for their interest in the product. Secondly, we intended to use this as advertisement for our new business. The amount needed for us to start this project is 15 to 20 confirmed orders.
Listed below are the components that comprise the E-ProCat:
· 3 Metal Cat (around $200.00 each plus shipping and handling)
· 2 Top cylinder Head Flange $20.00 each
· 2 Mid Pipe Flange $15.00 each
· 2 Center Cat Flange $15.00 each
· 4 o2 sensor bungs $9.99 each
· Burns Stainless U bends $34.00 each
· Plus custom cutting and welding

The manufacturer is Metal Cat. You can look it up on the web. The EPA and CARB information is listed there. We are NOT claiming or confirming that this system is EPA or smog compliant. The E-ProCat in it’s design was developed to be as EPA sensitive as possible, that is why we incurred the time and cost of the Cat. We again, only designed this for “Nitrotiger” and have NOT yet tested this at a smog station. We have not had any engine check light issues with this car.
This is a complete bolt-on system. If any issues, your original system could be replaced at will. This is one of the best Cat’s on the market today. The test results from “Nitrotiger’s” car suggest that he is getting better gas mileage as well. This system has shown over 21whp and 14 ft. torque on average. On a natural aspirated engine this is a significant gain by just exhaust bolt-on.
Remember guys, this is not our main business, just a value add product to our company. Thanks for reviewing the product and if you are still interested. Let us know. Thanks.

this is just one example of the answer to your question...

haha atleast thats a fairly reasonable prediction.

I'm curious to see what kind of numbers the FI UA6 with Eshift Procats will put down in the 1/4. Maybe 13.1s?

well way back in the day i did 13.794 at 101.54 so depending on alot of factors it is a reasonable prediction ,and for the most par comes down to the 60' mine was on a 2.0 something and i would think he would need atleast a very low 2.1
