You mean you have the fastest of anybody on this board and that we know about.....? (that I am not doubting this fact...although I think there is somebody else on here that when they get theirs on will prob be about the same as yours) No dude...I can relate to the dent thing on both sides at the rents house....both had my car duped and duped my brothers car (there were 5 of us kids driving at once back then) so I know how it is...or was many years ago anyway...I feel your pain. Had to fix my brothers car and it sucked! At least I fessed up...when it happened to me...of course, nobody saw anything happen. Was a popular problem....that and the lawnjobs over to the neighbors driveway...of course, nobody saw that happen ever either! I was just ribbin ya man! Gotta expect that when you share too much! I mean crap...if it makes you feel good...wanna rib me back....I didnt tell you all about how I rashed the second 18" A-spec rim lip the other weekend driving through the bank machine window from the reverse way so my buddy could use it from the passenger side. Seemed easy enough? Doh! Since I already have 4 new ones in the garage and those are winter rims now....I didnt sweat it a whole lot...but damn...not something you want to do either way! So its all good dude...we all F up every now and then....even if it is just to park in the wrong spot at the wrong time or to cut the curb to sharp from the passenger side!

You have the highest horsepower numbers.

However, that wouldn't necessarily translate into the fastest UA6 in the country.

ESP, do you make your own flanges or get them from a supplier? Are they for sale? I am mainly interested in the flange that bolts to the engine

This thread is not a pissing contest. You need to respect the other members who come to this thread to read about the product that ESP has produced. The last thing they want to see is you two bickering and this thread getting locked. No more comments. Hes got you on the ignore list and you have said your peace. Lets just let it go. If either one of you have anything else to say PM me, leave it out of this thread. I would hate to have to give someone a vacation.

I happened to see a TL at ESP today. it's the first stock exhaust 6mt TL to be installed with this mod. it gained about max 18whp@6500rpm and 14.1tq@4800rpm. as u can see the gains are throughout the range. this TL has AEM CAI coming in. making 238whp before the mod.

compared to Marc's (nitro's) dyno result gain (remember we can't compare dynos max numbers on different car/different day), we think that lil extra gain at the top went to his comptech exhaust. u can see the stock went kinda flat after 5800rpm. Marc's just kept on going a bit higher at the top. well, nobody always shift at redline anyway. (i heard Marc does tho)

Mike switched the AEM IAT sensor from stock to pipe location and MADE ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE. Mike said the pipe location might be hurting a bit. usually after a car is cooled, it gets extra gain. but switching to pipe location after the car is cooled made no difference therefore the "above conclusion". Mike thinks it's better to leave the IAT @ stock location.

I drove the car like i stole it and all i have to say is "i think it needs bigger brakes and it already has brembo". this thing gained 12-14tq. i had to be extra careful w/ my right foot.

ESP did a great job!! a very experienced and friendly place.

ttliang, thanks for the info!! That really helps! Now we're talking. I remember you had doubts about the Procats HP output, but now since you seen it with your own eyes, this is an important opinion to share with us. All the negative speculation about the ProCat is dissolving away.

Just curious.. how many units have they sold already?

quite a few TLs and few accords too.

in this case, the TL has stock tail and aem cai going in. EVERYTHING you see gain wise here is all pro-cat. remember? Nitro's they put pro-cat and AEM back-to-back and compared w/ diff. day dyno that's why i had doubts. engineers could be a bit anal in that department.

i am very impressed by the 15~18whp gain but more important the 12-14tq thru-out the band. that's gonna really help day-to-day driving. my theory is this TL gained a bit more tq. due to stock back-pressure. i'd do tests all day long but i understand people's time=$$$. $150 dyno + install is 3rd world country rate (no disrespect) if you see how much is involved installation wise. my advise, DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME UNLESS YOU HAVE MAD TIME AND TOOLS.

I guess this G* pig's kid is gonna have to sleep on the floor a bit longer.

no offense. faith is for religion. dyno is for cars. just needed to see more dynos that's all.

Thanks again, Nitrotiger, for making this happen on TLs. i guess thanks to that accord guy who started this too. his car was there last evening i believe. saw his blown engine head there as a fitting model for our benefit. it's a funny story i think i read it somewhere else.

went out driving that TL i saw last night today and didn't want to come home.... it's so ez to drive. flows so smoothly under regular shifting. i bet, like Nitro said, it saves gas too. think about it, unlike force air (turbo, SC) which will make engines work harder, you are helping the engine to breath better by putting this mod in. i can't say enough about the Pro-cat. i don't see any drawbacks other than your wallet might be hurting a bit. i strongly recommend whoever's ready $$$ wise to jump on this. as for myself, i'll just continue to drive that TL i met last night. ;-)
