I did it myself. Was not a problem at all. I did though spray it with PB blaster a few times throughout the day, and then busted the bolts loose. But you in HI right? :jealous: I doubt you will have as many problems as others.

Same dyno-- WinPep

First dyno- 39 degrees 69% humidity
After Jpipe and Megan- 83 degrees 81% humidity

I think there is definately more power mid range.

Oh yeah and to any wondering about the ECU not needing to be reset the first dyno the A/F ran well below 10.0 at around 5K.

They unplugged the battery and next run the A/F was 11.3 almost all the way through.

Honestly, a dyno is only as good as the consistency of the factors. I'm sure you will see the same power differences if your completely stock, and redyno on two different occasions with temperature variances. I'm not a dyno expert but please feel free to correct me if I'm off.

Again the install place was amazed by the quality!

They were pretty sure that the weather causes a BIG difference. They even agreed to strap it up again when the temps are lower.

Thanks again for the great product!

Hey rooki...I just put the ATLP J-Pipe on today, and I have the GReddy Evo II. Initial impressions: I notice a little bit more pep on the accelerator. The gas pedal actually feels a bit more weighty.

I didn't notice any sound difference with the J-Pipe, like I was expecting. The drone is the same, and the interior noise level is the same.

I really wish I could have dyno'd it before and after, to see the actual gains, but I really didn't feel like paying for a couple dyno pulls.

Just fyi, I did reset the ECU after installing the J-Pipe this morning. Overall, I do feel an increase in torque, and therefore I am happy with the mod, but I don't have any #'s to back it up.

When you reset the ECU do you have to re program ur navi and bluetooth? Do you really need to reset the ECU or will this happen autmatically if you drive the car long enough.

reset it. There are two fuses you need to pull to reset the the PCM, they are 40 and 15 , ecu and ecu/pcm fuse

Resetting the ECU is better, IMO, since it is instant, and you have full control of it. No, you do NOT have to reprogram the Navi or bluetooth. You will have to have to re-input your Navi and radio codes, however, so keep those handy!

Since I have the re Flash from Jet Performance do you think it will effect it if I reset the ECU?

yeah just pull the two fuses associated with the ecu/pcm. And then if you can do a run on the track .

15 and 40 , and when you look at the scematic its says ECU/PCM on one and just ECU on the other cause there are multiple 40's and 15's

guys, i cant express it enough. you DO NOT have to reset the ecu after installing a new mod period. it will learn it on its own. the only thing your doing by resetting it, is forcing it to relearn everything all over again.

B4 i was SC'd, i had i/e/p/pro-cats all in that order and didnt reset my ecu one time. then i was forced, when i had to replace my oem battery. it litteraly took about 300-400miles of driving for it to feel normal again

dude thats gotta be all in your head , the cars ECU learns ALOT faster then that.

You can reset your ECU do a run down the track and thats it ECU learned what to do.

The ecu will continually adjust on the fly but the reset is just to make it happen a lot faster then slowly waiting for it to adjust

While I don't think it takes that long, I don't think it's this fast either. Somewhere in between is probably right.
