Mine didn't come until today. I couldn't get the third cat bolts to brake loose, so I'll have to wait. The place where I took my car to have the pulley put on, couldn't get the bolt off, so I ordered the pulley tool and will have them install the j-pipe when they do the pulley. I'll try to get it done next week. The pipe looks great and the quality is outstanding. I look forward to seeing the test pipe, hopefully soon.

S/C, PROCATS & REFLASH.....+GREDDY CATBACK & ATLP J-PIPE............GAIN (J-PIPE AND CATBACK)
............294 HP..........................312 HP.................18 HP
............261 FT-LB......................271 FT-LB.............10 FT-LB
............6.4 PSI..........................4.6 PSI................-1.8 PSI

weather; 74 F and 47% humidity (VERY CLOSE TO FIRST DYNO)

Remember this is a dynapack pull, (power at wheel hubs), not to be compared with dynojet pulls.

You can compare the two runs on the charts as before and after, since my 1st run, 10 months ago, yielded similar numbers to the ones in yellow (thin purple line)

Overall I am very satisfied, but's it's pretty much what I expected. The 2 psi drop in boost pressure is sweeeeeeet! I think I need to be in the 330 HP range with all my mods, though. But for being a normal boost 5AT...I can't complain!

wasn't batches sent last week had oil pan clearance issue fixed?
mine got installed today and they were touching eachother with no room to play whatsoever.. will post pics soon

for the gain.. improved throttle response and low-end torque was instantly noticeable

when I did the procats install I found 1 of the 3 bolts on each cat would stay on and you would have to use 2 bolts to torque it loose... if it is stripped, drill it out... no biggie and just get a replacement of the same size

I used hand tools, but had to replace two nuts (one I had a shop get off with an impact wrench). I could probably replace a couple of more, but I was still able to get my sockets to work on them so I used them. I also put a good coating of anti-seize on the bolts and nuts before I put the new j-pipe on.

Find out what size/thread pattern nut it is and go to a hardware or nut&bolt shop. Yeah, the factory nuts are kinda special since they are self locking w/ built in washers and I think they are also grade 5....but still very over priced.

It's important that everyones used grade 5 hardware on all these exhaust connections to avoid any future grief when removing or swapping parts. I had all grade 5 hardware between pro cats and j-pipe for almost a year, before I installed the ATLP pipe, and the hardware came off without any problems.

TL-S with OEM Exhaust

Mine were barely touching eachother with the pipe pushed out furthest away from the oil pan. Pipe has been dented in where it touches the pan and now it clears by a hair.

Now ECU adjusted to extra flow and throttle response is very instant and torque gain is close to putting in aftermarket headers. Felt little sluggish after getting bigger wheels but this mod negated that power loss. Great mod for the money.

Stillhere, don't just assume that its install error when jpipe doesn't clear the oil pan. When car's lifted on the lift, jpipe pushed out furthest possible and if it doesn't clear, it'll not clear.

Here's my pics

Thank you!!!!
But remember, that's HP at the rotors. power to the ground would be a little less than 300....prob 285-to 295 HP, hopefully.
I like using this dyno because it's good for keeping track gains from tuning upgrades and parts add-ons, accurately, without any error associated with wheel slip or tire pressure.

not in all cases. i actually dyno'd 2 hp more one time going from shawns to a dynojet. i'd say when you car is nice and cool, you'd probable be around 300-305whp , cause the SC gets gets pretty heatsoaked on the dyno.

SIGGY MAN! what's up!!! yeah, thanks for burning me on my gains! Now my car looks like it got shitty HP and TQ! haha just kidding man.

That sucks about your HG, man I hope it's not too serious. But pulling all that power at 10 f@ckin psi....somethings gonna want to give out! Lemme know what you find.

Nice meeting you too, Siggy!
