Hey guys, looking for some help please:
Basically I have the 3.40c firmware, and was able to successfully update the background (thanks AcuraZine, KennyC and the Crew) but would also like to get rid of the nag screen. I followed the directions, and end up with a blank screen with the "GO" button replacing the nag text and "Okay" Button.
I've been searching all day and seem to think that I need the nonag-navi.exe file unless im looking for the wrong thing?
Any insight would be greatly appriciated.

I thought the "nag text/ok button" was suppose to be bypassed altogether and not just replaced with "blank screen/go button"

Maybe someone with a longer memory than myself can't point me in the correct direction. I did this like 3 years ago so things are foggy at best. I change my loading screen to say Please wait.......

I know I did it in hex editor, but I can't remember which file I edited. Long story short, the car is sold and I'd like to switch the name for the new owner, rather than just loading up the factory one setup, or the no nag one. Maybe someone can point me to the right thread if it hasn't been deleted. Thanks.

Hello everyone, Just wanted to stop by and let those who might be interested know that there will be a hack for the nag screen shortly. I just acquired a navigation dvd yesterday (6.72B), and I've already patched up the code. Just need to load it up and test it out before making a release.

Help hacking NAvi
So i red the guide i was going to do it but when it came to the step where i had to use BNHH401A.BIN that was it that file "BNHH401A.BIN" is not on my CD my CD is orange and the car its and 2005

Unfortunately bad news if you've got an 07-08, as this hack is only for 6.72B. I'd be willing to crack earlier versions if someone will work with me to get the binaries that need to be modified.

I've recently gotten a '09 MDX with version 4.73A DVD in it. My understanding is that we would need the 09Touch2.BIN file but I could get any of them. Or if you are referring to the the dll or exe files within them, I can get those too. Let me know which ones, once you're ready. Obviously you'll want to finish up with your version and release it first.

I can get you the binaries for the 4.55 07 disk. There are lots of members here that are looking for the OK nag hack for the 07-08 systems. Let me know what you need and I will get them to you...thanks for the offer...as stated above, you will make lots of 07-08 owners very happy...

This may not be the place to ask this , but is there a less expensive way to get a new disc for my 04 TL . mine gets lost real easy and a lot of old streets are "undesignated areas" .

Well I haven't yet received an answer for certain, but upon reading the thread a little closer I stumbled upon a few posts (i.e. #46, #241, etc) which led me to think that it is possible to do the hack on the 3.30 disks, or at least the 3.30f version. But not for sure on earlier 3.30 versions. Anyone??

I need to download Kenny's files HMIManager.zip and navi.zip but when I click on the links on pg. 1 I get directed to a savefile.com's website which is upgrading its system. Does anyone have these .zip files saved on their computer and can send them my way?? Thanks.

I'm a s/w engineer (with an '09 Fit) and am interested in writing some custom software for the Nav system. I recall reading a while back that someone was able to get a simple Hello World app to run on their Honda navi, so the possibility to add additional software exists.
I'd like to improve the USB MP3 player, as it only shows the first 10 or so characters of the track title and artist. When browsing folders, the system shows all folders as if they were right off the root folder.
The iPod functionality supports playlists, and the PCMCIA card slot supports searching by artist or track name, but the USB player has neither of these features. I'm not complaining, as I love having access to 16GB of music from my car stereo - but there's always room for improvement
If anyone has any tips on how to create custom software for the Navi system, please let me know.

I got a question reverting back to the origial post about the trip computer hack...it may sound like a dumb question but what exactly does it do? i understand the wallpaper and ok hack but i dont quite understand this one. Thanks in advance

Well, I went ahead and fully patched HMIManager.dll. Use at your own risk! I can't promise this will work, they do everything they can to make sure you see that warning screen. In fact, they employ so many tricks that they have special code just to remove all the duplicate instances of it.

I could, but I'm unfortunately extremely short on time. I'll look into other versions after I get a fully working patch for 6.72. Right now I've got a patched up 09AVN2.bin, but I still have to fix the checksums by hand before it'll take it.

along with freshjive360 i'm lookin for working links for nag removal and trip hack. anyone have URL or files for v3.4. not the programs but the actual modified *.bin i can download, copy to cd and upload to car.

I just bought a 2006 TL and I my Orange disk is a 3.5 I was able to change my splash screen but unable to find the links to do the \\"ok\\" button and Trip computer hack. I\\\'ve tried to load the two file from \\"38navi_and_trip\\" and they wouldn\\\'t load so I saved them over the old ones with all 9 Bin\\\'s it loaded but didn\\\'t take care of the OK and trip computer options My Loading Filename is BNHH401A.BIN and My Version is 3.10.04 Orange Disk 3.5 please help any advice?
