2007+ MERGED THREAD, SPECS ARE NOW ON PAGE 1, POST #1

I like the new TL Type-S, but boy they could of done a little more like upgrade the TL's ELS system and added ventilated seats would of been nice. The new seats look comfy, and really how hard would it be to make em' ventilated ? Acura, could of bragged how they were reducing emissions since it's a scientific fact that people use less A/C when they have vehicles equiped with ventilated seats.

Looking at the web site today, the only way to get a 6spd is to buy the Type-S. Looks like Acura going to be losing some sells. OK course some will pay 7K more to get it and what comes with it.

Width of 07 TL
The 04 to 06 TL is 72.2 inches wide, but the TOV article lists the 07 TL and TL-S as being 75.4 inches wide. Could this be due to the new side mirrors? Are side mirrors included in vehicle width dimentions?

07 TL-S on Motorweek
I just watched "Motorweek" on PBS this morning (9/2) and they had a short piece on the new TL-S in their "Carkeys" segment. Showed it in a nice blue color and spent most of the time accenting the differences on the S version from the standard. Check out PBS.org for the times when it might be viewing in your area.

I agree, heated seats and a moonroof are standard equipment on 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen TL's.
Maybe in his mind he saw a TL without heated seats a moonroof

Yeah that is disappointing since I'm sure I would have paid that much more just to get a manual.
And the extra weight over the front is probably not going to enhance the handling and balance.

I still can't believe they changed the interior theme to orange for the type S. That is one (not only) reason I stayed away from the Infiniti G. Unbelievable!
