another solution for my auto CL guys
I think the 04-06 trans that are the same
What a little snow and the whole town shuts down LOL, You should come to Ottawa Canada we got that muck snow every weekend last year

There seems to be a cylinder shutdown system after 04 that changed something. The units I am seeing are broken down 02 03 04 and then 05 06. Dunno, I am certain I want to get the right one teh first time. lol
Where I am in VA Im lucky if the plow comes by 2 days later. They dont even prep the roads before the storm. And they wonder why people get into so many accidents. We got maybe 5" of snow total and yet the entire city is practically shut down. Schools were closed yesturday, and we got maybe 1", then it warmed up and turned to rain.
Last weekend we got around a foot. It stopped snowing Saturday afternoon. The plows came down my block Tuesday at 3 in the morning

Schools were closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Its rediculous.
We got about 28" here, a back hoe came thru and made a narrow path, finally got power back but now my back is dead from shoveling/running a small snow blower, school has already called for closing Monday and Tueday.
I hate shoveling snow I payed kids last year LOL but im trying to get my dad to attach a snow plow on his RAM 2500 cummings deisel to plow my drive cause hes retired and has nothing to do in the winter but he says no , I think it would be a good business. and he has this huge truck that he just drives around WTF but it was good for picking up my tranny ! (the first and only thing that trucks been good for)
Actually it should be done by late tomorrow, even though my old bones were killing me I just about have the power train out and they plowed my street yesterday. I am hoping all goes well and you can pick-up tuesday AM before the next snow comes in late tuesday into wedensday.
Also you need new radiator hoses, they are the originals on here and I could hear the re-enforcement strands crack while taking them off.

haha cant wait for the pics to see how my car is coming along.
These were taken in order while transferring over componets and checking for tapped holes, this tranny had all needed holes tapped already. Also shows you the filter (which I would definatly replace and continue doing so every 25K miles) , the donar tranny also had the 2nd gear jet kit which should be kept, notice the re-plumbing for it using 3/8" hose and a brass T fitting.

If our trans does not have the oiljet should we get it?
Nevermind mine has it :P
Maybe that's how it's over 100k.
What torque converter do you suggest?
