What people need to understand that only an initial deposit is due immediately to start production and the remaining amount due in a month or two. Maybe some people are thinking they need to start forking out $6-700 right away.

Just my $.02

If someone could get their 6MT to these guys to test, we'd be well into the mid 20s

I'd definetly be happy if we could make it 600\650 with 30 people!

Yes, we are at 23 including people with "Strong Maybe"..

We have atleast 7 people looking for the 6-speed version.. I created a thread in Car Talk asking for a volunteer and having been bumping it for about a week without anyone volunteering. I've done the best I can and I'll keep adding people as interested but that's the best I can do. I'll leave it up to the 6 speeders to get it going..

I'm guessing it will go by the passenger side kickpanel since that's where the ECU is located.....Just a guess though.:P

...Guess, is right! It is actual down under the radio console, on the tranny "hump" close to the firewall - you pull the carpet back from both sides to access the mounting bolts and wire harnesses.

Ding!

It sits right next to our stock ECU.

Getting very close. I'm looking into getting the PO box setup next week.

I agree with Ant and JT .. lets hold out for a while for 30. A price in the 600's would definetly make my wallet happy and will give me time to save for the final payment.

BTW, I think flint makes 18?

A flashlight to see what ur doing and a 10mm wrench or socket. Once u pull back the carpet it's right there and if u don't have to remove the stock ecu for anything then you won't need any tools. Just unplug the stock ecu connections and then connect the uni-chip

Also, Will I be okay with just I/H/Stock Exhaust? I'd hate to spend $500+ on an exhaust for like 2hp. But I suppose if its needed.....

Yeah...no need to get the exhaust. Also u can get this uni-chip w/o even putting in the headers...it will still work fine just maybe no as efficient. And then buy headers. Just my recommendation cause this group buy ain't gonna last forever!!

mrsteve,

if you want to have exhaust, make sure you go for full cat back.. not just axle back. But the Chip works either way. It just help to enhance your other mods.

Okay, so are we going to wait for more people? If so, lets set a dead line for the GB onces we hit 20 people, that way, this does not get drag out much longer, and people can have there chip buy the summer for the drags.

CLS2001, Could you maybe call UniChip and see what the price breaks may be from 25 and what it would be at 30?

Let us know ASAP... The situation is $100 deposit due at the end of the GB. Then once they have a finished product about a month. Then the rest will be due..
