Edmonton Acuraziner's
Haha yup! Planning on getting those sprint performance 2inch springs, on stock shocks :/ We shall see how that goes.
Haha sweet!
Yeah finally mine, only be eyeing them for over a year hahaha. What did you run for spacers on your car? My rears are already half rolled from the mexican fitment I had last summer on the 240's wheels haha. I got 4 cars to roll fenders on, guess I'll add my own to the list, I wont do yours Vince in case the paint cracks!

^ Haha yeah man. I'll be getting dropped tomorrow and Ricky is installing his springs soon. Looks like Sanjay will be getting springs too so quite a few members will have dropped rides
Just try to get the adjusted height you want first or second time, These are a pain to adjust.
Any questions with it, Ricky's got mah number
@Aaron, We should have a meet lets say Friday the 13th. (What could go wrong?) Everybody's car should be clean and out of winter mode by then

^ Search my friend. This topic has been thoroughly discussed on the forum.
A very basic explanation is, coilovers are adjustable and springs are a set height. Coilovers are good if you want to customize ride height and if you plan to raise it in the winter. Springs seem like a bigger job to install since you have to remove top hats and compress the springs.
Here's what went down earlier today:
Before

After

Can you guess who is who?

A HUGE thanks goes out to Ricky and Mitchell for helping with the install. They installed the coilovers, 6k headlight bulbs, and 6k foglight kit. I did a lot of bumming around as this kind of stuff is not my specialty. They did an awesome job and everything turned out great.

If you want adjust-ability buy Coilovers, Lower in summer, Raise in winter.
Springs, set height. It is what it is.
Springs about 250$
Coils about 700$
What Vince said, Had to reply 2 seconds prior
"Here's what went down earlier today" I see what you did there

@Myron - Haha good eye! The ride is not too bad. Takes bumps a lot harder and it feels a little wobbly at the moment. I'll give it a few days and I'll probably get an alignment.
@EdmTSX - It's best to have air tools. Ricky spent well over an hour on one of my bolts as it was completely seized. He could have cut it and saved a lot of time but seeing as how it was Sunday no shops were open to get a new one. It's a big job and very time consuming.

What bolt was seized? How long did it take you guys to do this? Took me and jbond about 6 hours with having to compress the springs and change top hats and all that without air tools in my garage/driveway.
Speaking of alignments...I dropped my car off at a shop this morning they called me a while later "We can't do your alignment your car is too low to get on the hoist" I said What is this too low business? Up she comes...
Sherwood Honda can do really low cars. Where did you drop yours off?
I see these posts about dropping the suspension on your cars, and I'm left with one question:
Edmonton, ALBERTA? I mean, the Edmonton I drive around in is rough enough on a 4X4. God help you if you want to drive over a speed bump at Canadian Tire.
How do you guys do it? You must ease up and down parkade ramps at a slow walking pace.

Honestly tho, I like those base wheels more than the type s ones on your car, but that's just me. Feels wobbly? Shouldn't feel like that. Do you hear any clunking from the rear or anything like that? It can be wobbly if rear end links are damaged, and it's easy to damage them when replacing the suspension.

Nope no clunking or strange noises. How can I tell if the endlinks are damaged? I don't think Ricky touched the endlinks as he moved the whole bracket over to avoid removing it.
The bolt for the shock fork was seized. This one: http://www.oemacuraparts.com/acura/b...sm4-010-acura/
Got a new one today along with a new nut and went over to Ricky's to get it replaced. I think we were there for like 8 hours or so? This included removing my front bumper to do the fog light kit, swap the headlight bulbs, and taking a break for lunch.
Ricky showed me the pics when I saw him last night. I still have to see both of your cars. Haha
Well. I swapped my bbs back this morning.
Cool new blue lugs complimented the finish

Here is how she sits now with my new rubber. I love the poke right now. Conservative stretch and no rubbing so far. No time to clean the car

damn arthur, that's beautiful.
@Vince, yea. The lug nuts changes its color just like the bbs'. I have locking nuts with the same finish but Invision gave me the wrong pitch. So I'll probaby go there tomorrow after school.
@Myron, thanks. I nailed the offset this time. Couldn't be happier right now. Haha
