I was looking into changing my 3rd and 4th gear switches as preventative maintenance but for the type-s there are some troubles identifying where they all are and whether or not there are (2) 4th gear switches and (1) 3rd gear or a 2nd gear switch as well. I'll just ignore it until someone figures everything out and takes pictures lol.

@Arthur - I was planning on going but forgot I'll be on vacation. Make sure to snap some pics if you go!

@Myron - Yes.. just get those tail lights already lmao. I'm really liking the white and red combo of the sidemarkers. It looks so nice without that hideous amber light.

Nah, I had my friend paint it for me. In the day light, the color is rather off, Its safe to say that my paint is probably that faded.

Damn Myron those tails do look really good. It's a toss up between those ones or the TL-S tails. But I guess the bettter question is, which ones are easier to get a hold of and for what price?

vincent I got my switchbacks today in the mail. Did you locate those resistors we need to solder in order to don't get hyper flashing. I was reading that thread and they said that 0.12 or 0.1 2 watt ones work just fine. Anyone know where to get that shit?

also my curfew has been lifted, I'm a free man again haha for now

Sanjay said we can get it at radio shack. Those don't exist here anymore so I'm assuming "The Source" would be more or less the exact same. Otherwise yeah, I have no idea where to find those. It would be lame if we had to resort to ordering online.

I went to the source today and lowest they had was 1 ohm. I am gonna ask this electrician I know about it. He's pro with stuff like that. Electrician, turned into electrical engineer, turned into building massive compressor testers or some shit like that in his garage. I am confident that he knows about this shti

I forgot to ask you how you like your intake resonator removal? I love it. It sounds awesome, it has that growl to it or something. Sanjay asked me if i had an exhaust when he heard it.

Wheels look great man.

And yea I removed the intake resonator. When me and gldcrzy did his headlights, he took his off and I did the same. It's pretty nice. Now I am thinking that I might go the custom exhaust route for sound and some performance or just removing the exhaust resonator for sound. Depends how much money I will wanna spend

@Myron - Did you find out from your buddy where we can buy those .12ohm resistors locally?

@Sanjay - Damn awesome job on the refinish. How's the door coming along? I went to Doug's Place and Cougar for a quote on the damage to my rear bumper and knick on the quarter panel, about $2100 from Doug's Place and $1500 from Cougar. Did you say a brand new front bumper is around $500? If so, I might just buy a new rear bumper if it's also the same cost and fix up the quarter panel myself since it's just a few scratches and what looks to be a paint touch up.

@HeatBagTL - Yes 21 pages and you better read every single one of them! Lol. Welcome to the forums. What kind of wheels are you running? Pics?

I need some base 07-08 taillights first. I am thinking of picking up DEPO ones but with shipping and everything they are gonna be around 170$ or more. I don't really wanna spend the money right now. So I am rolling with type-s sides and stock tails for now. And I think that to properly smoke the tails they will have to be cut open and smoked from the inside. I don't know if I have the balls to do that. Cutting open the side markers and soldering in new LEDs wasn't hard at all so this might not be as hard as it sounds.

I got those resistors today. I am gonna try and install it today after work and then tonight I should have switchbacks done. If anyone else is interested in getting these they are $1.95 for a package of 2, and they can be found on southside 4411-97th street and the place is called Electrical Connections.

Vincent also like i said, there is 2 resistors per pack and I only need one of them so you can have the other one so you don't have to drive all the way southside
