that 2G TL is a trooper. Can't sell that. It's been totaled but I had no insurance on it so I fixed it up. Put close to 30 000km on it since then. Then this weekend on the way to Calgary my serpentine belt snapped after my AC compressor seized. So the batter wasn't charging and I took it as far as I could. Lasted me 50km before I came to my destination and still started after I was done. And then I got a shorter belt and bypassed the AC compressor and I am still driving like that without problems. 2G lives on haha

Myron I'll be placing 2-3 more orders in the next few days. I seriously need to hide my credit card from myself. This is almost getting out of hand lol. But I will be quite prepared when dealing with most paint. I'll just be missing the major purchases like a water extractor or paint thickness gauge. Those are way out of my price range.

Arthur I get my stuff all through online retailers. I've purchased from eshine.ca, autowerkesexclusive, and here in Edmonton autoobsessed. Only thing with autoobsessed is you can't pickup locally, it has to be shipped since they don't have a store.

I went to Canadian Tire and all they had was red and blue paint and I am looking for black. I wanna paint my rear brake calipers black to match the front and then paint my hubs black too. They are rusty now and I would hate seeing rusty hubs and new wheels. Let me know if anyone knows anything about this I am trying to do this today.

I checked at the one closest to me and some kid said they don't have it any more and that they didn't for a while. I will eventually change rotors so painting is only temporary anyways but I DO NOT wanna go with red or blue

I am doing it now. I just did the hubs, I am too lazy to do the calipers and I like how the silver calipers look actually. I just cleaned them up with a dremel and the little wire disk attachment and they look nice. The kit is 24$ and there is no way I can use up all the paint so you can have it man. You mihgt just need a brush but you can take that out of the box in the store haha

 

I mean it's a waste to you buy the kit too if we can both use the paint. Unless you need it for some other stuff.

 

hey my roof is painted i fully commited, vinyls cool to though , im just not really planning to sell the car or anything and i got a really good deal so i just went with it, turned out great im super happy

painting didn't take long but it took me a while to sand the hubs cuz there was a lot of rust on there. Only surface rust off course. I didn't drive the car all winter but a few times and it just happens. I am doing the fronts tomorrow, I need some new wire brush attachments for the dremel. I used up all the ones that come with the kit haha

 

thats true! LMAO take the brush out of the box!! lol can i pick up the paint on friday morning? i might be doing it on friday because the shop is gonna be empty...and we gotta do the vinyl thing soon. mine should be here next week..

 

yea Friday morning would be good I think. I will PM you my number. And yea take the brush out of the box for blue caliper paint. Who ever chooses to buy that and use it for calipers has to be punished somehow hahaha

 

My TPMS better come in before your vinyl lol. I'm still running on my blizzaks. I feel as though I'm ruining the treads everyday I drive with them in this weather.

Any of you guys got any idea where i could get my 07-08 key cut and programed in edmonton? Besides the dealer. I didn't even check with them if that's possible for them to do for a 05 TL. I know there is a vendor on here that does it I just wanna know if there might be places like that in the city.

 

quick question if i run wheels without tpms sensors in my 06 withh it just be the light of a fucken annoying ding every 20 seconds , anyone know ??
