Sanjay do you still have your stock sidemarkers? I want to get mine modded by acktl but I'd have to send my set into him. Would I be able to borrow them temporarily?

That's cool as long as I can put something in there so it doesn't look like I got robbed. Damn those switchbacks still aren't in stock on v-leds. They've been out for like a month. On their FB page they indicated they will be receiving a bunch of stuck in a few weeks. Hopefully that includes those switchbacks we want.

Hey man how much does ACK charge to do your side markers? And how much would you pay for shipping there and back?

If his prices are still the same, it's $50 to have all four done including shipping. But that may only apply to states, there might be extra shipping to Canada. However, we have to purchase the LEDs ourselves and send it to him. More information can be found in this thread

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/custom-side-markers-teaser-thread-800333/

Oh that probably doesn't include us shipping the sidemarkers to have them modded in the first place. I have no idea how much it would cost for us to ship to him.

Haha yeah kind of a hassle but lights will be my major exterior mod. I'm not planning on doing a drop or changing wheels anytime soon so changing lights will be my thing lol.

Yeah acktl said his lights would be brighter than the USR ones. Plus I don't want all the sidemarkers to be one color. I want the rears to be red and front to be white. On the USR site, it's either all white or all red.

I'm thinking white to match my front with future 6k switchbacks & 6k drl/6khid, and red to match the tails.

rear type-s markers have different plug/harness then the base TL. so your gonna have to mod the harness or the lights it self.

Hey Vincent, are you planing to send those in very soon? Because if you are, rock his side markers and then when you get yours back I will make an offer for those rears. I am low on cash right now so this will give me some time to get some $. Like a month or something.

Does that work for you guys?

also anyone want a rear sway bar from my 6MT? These are thicker then the ones on automatic cars and it might be a nice upgrade. PM for price, it's gonna be cheap, real cheap. Edmua+ this might be a nice upgrade for you since you're auto and it will still retain a smooth ride with your suspension. My upgraded one is really stiff.

yea because his connector on the type s is bigger or something and the aftermarket ones you got were designed for a base. So the base connector that's smaller should fit into the type s ones. On this forum, everyone has done it so I don't think there will be problems. Well I hope there won't be.

Ed's a great guy. I believe his rate is $15/tire. He does it from his garage. He's lives close to us. Go down 82st, it's a bit before you reach the yellowhead.

Also yes, the forecast says there's supposed to be snow. Who knows how much we'll actually get. Hopefully most of it melts on contact though. I still have my winters on since I'm waiting for the TPMS to arrive before I swap everything.

@myron, how hard is it to change to sway bar?

@wphan, it's supposed to snow up to 10cm tomorrow, i hope it will melt right away.

I don't know it was a bitch for me. Rear end links are designed real stupid so I had to cut my stock ones off because I stripped the nut on there but I had to replace it anyways because after I lowered the car it was making noise. New endlinks are 60$ from a parts store so I just cut them off and got new ones.

I personally wouldn't wanna do the work again but I am sure your brother can do it
