Ricky when are you gonna do the roof? I wanna do it soon, but I am not sure if I can get my buddy to help me yet or not and when he's free to do it.

welcome back to edmonton, my oil life percentage didn't change at all. lol. I set my cruise at 130 kph and saw a cop hiding behind a pillar that supports a flyover. I guess he is looking out for speeding vehicles but he didn't chase me at all. just pure luck? and oh, i got 7L/100km. lol

my steering wheel lights are burnt as well.

Yea there is a member on here that has done it and he has a write up. I don't think I can do it this next weekend but maybe the weekend after that. It would be a good idea to clay bar the roof first before doing this.

Lol damn Arthur how'd you manage to do 7L/100km? When I came back from Calgary in the summer I was at 11/100km. It's not like I was driving like a maniac either. I set cruise control most of the time but occasionally got bored

Hmm I asked this guy about his process and he said to do it with the moonroof closed.

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/3m-dinoc-roof-hood-trunk-lip-spoler-815736/

I was questionable but he says cutting it with a razor on the glass is safe as long as you don't puncture it too deep. Let me know when you guys plan on doing it. I'd gladly help if I'm free. I bought my heat gun for only one reason.. vinyl wrap.

I think I was getting 8L/100km a few years ago when I went to Kelowna. 7 is pretty impressive though

Yea I had seen a DIY video of this and the guys did it with an open sunroof. I think. Either way I am gonna give it a try so what happens happens haha

I got a heat gun too, just for vinyl too haha

I have no idea, I managed to do 7L/100KM the whole trip. That includes 10% city driving, and I was sitting in traffic for about 10-15 minutes on my way home. I also managed to take a picture. lol

Also, are you going to be getting a new bumper for sure? How damaged is it? My fog light lens on the right side is cracked, I'm wondering if yours is still intact.
Im still rocking my winter tires, then again, mine are shit tires. You're not going to eat up your tires significantly in this weather. Wednesday is fine. Yeah new bumper eventually, both my fog's got rock chips in them.

Fuck I think they are taking off my curfew in may so I might go to some shows, but it's summer time so there is barely gonna be any shows here.

Leave a note on the TL next time and tell them to join acurazine lol. Does it have a RJ rear as well or just the front? I'm not really a fan of that a-spec spoiler or the moonroof visors. Wheels look nice though.

Nvm I googled rj kit and it looks like it only has the front. Strange how the owner didn't do the full kit

I'm finally done my led conversion. I delayed the glove box and center console for over half a year. I somewhat broke the glove box plastic piece off so I had to be ghetto and use some super glue. Luckily nobody can see it since it's all tucked away lol.

@Myron: Yeah it was such a pain in the ass for the vanity lights. The DIY's all tell you to just shove a screwdriver in there and twist. So I did, and nothing really happened so I turned and it popped out. However, in the process I managed to break a piece of plastic off and now it doesn't go back into the hole properly. I used tape to hold it up since I don't really care to spend $20 on replacing it. I don't use those things anyway. I changed them just so I knew all lights were changed.

@Arthur: In total, I think everything cost me $100. I got most of the LEDS from e-bay. They are a fraction of the cost compared to the suppliers here in North America and work just as well. The only lights I didn't get off e-bay were my cree reverse lights. I have 15 leds per light for the map, rear, and trunk. Doors and vanity have 9 leds or so, and the glovebox and center console are singles.

I'm waiting for the 6k drl kit and 6k switchbacks to arrive from v-leds now Those set me back quite a bit but I like white light lol.

Haha yeah I don't know what I was thinking. At first I was considering 30 leds but was worried about fitment issues. For the first few months they were blindingly painful to have at night. Whenever I opened the door I was like WTF SPACESHIP! But I guess my eyes are now more used to the insane light. It's hard to lose something in my car at night haha.

I forget which ones I got but nothing even close to 15 leds and they are still bright. One of them in the back acts weird. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

Sounds like it's time to replace.. and go 30 leds per light lol.

Just pop the plastic cover off and see if it has gotten loose. Mine had a seperate wire to connect to the socket so it's not as snug fitting as OEM but looks better than the dim yellow.

Hey man would you do another set of headlights? Mine haha I would help you out, I did a set before on a VW golf but I am scared to do it myself on the TL. I need someone who has done it before on this car. I just want them blacked out, no LEDs. I do wanna replace the projector lenses with ZKW-r and I already have those.
