@Tai - Nah been so busy these past few weeks I've decided I'm not going to wrap my roof anymore. I haven't done a single one of my other planned projects since I haven't had the time. Hopefully I'll have some more time in the upcoming weekends to get some stuff done. I haven't even done an annual paint correction on it yet. Oh the neglect!

Tai's not parting out, it's his buddy/my neighbor that is doing part swaps before insurance takes it away. I saw it had some baller winter wheels earlier tonight on the driveway lol.

I'm working tomorrow as well. I'm looking forward to attending a meet at some point, even though I do not have any mods on my car at this point in time (probably getting an ATLP exhaust in the future, just waiting for some money to come in from the government... that will be awhile).

 

On another note, what's the top speed anyone has hit in their cars? I managed to get to 238km\h on wide open highway.

yeah, its a write off, 13k damage by just looking at back, thats without looking at the front/frame

@Aaron, already gone accounted for, the airbag is different anyways so your light would always be on

On the side note, just spent two hours or so with my Dad working on this.




ran into a problem when we stretched the vinyl too much and its not perfect but for a first time DIY, im happy with our results!

 

@Ricky - Haha no idea man. I rode in my buddy's 11' is350 awd and it definitely didn't feel as quick as my TL-S. Big differences seeing as how his is awd and my TL is auto, so yeah...

@Justin - Interesting. Is that an a-spec kit on it? What have you done to your 4G so far? Your grill looks very different.

@Tai - DIY ftw! Did you wrap the xm antenna as well? Where did you end up getting the vinyl from?

bought a 5ftx6ft off a user called autovinylsolutions on ebay, came out to $100cad with shipping/duties, i have lots of vinyl left to do my grill/roof spoiler/xm but i think im gonna leave my roof spoiler/xm white for now, i think its gonna be to much of a struggle if i try lol

@Tai - Yeah doing the xm antenna with one piece might turn out questionable. I can see a relief cut or two being needed to work with those sharp edges. You have plenty of extra vinyl so why not give it a shot! Doing the roof spoiler seems like it would be a huge pita if you aren't ripping it off the car. It was already tricky with it being off the car. I'll be removing the CF vinyl on mine and installing it as is. Since I'm not doing the CF roof anymore I don't feel like running only a CF roof spoiler.

@Aaron - Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that's the one Justin was saying he spotted. I would assume he owns the white one in his avatar.

@Jeff - Looks great! Did you get a new front lip installed yet?

Ahhh, its soo nice to have an a/m sub again. Installed a JL10W3 with a 300W amp, pounds alot harder than I thought it would!

 

Haha yeah I did see you, I wanted to flash my highbeams at you but wasn't a 100% sure it was you hahaha.
