For the fitment, I'll have to check it out another day but the paint is decent. Near the bottom edges, it seems the paint is too thin since I can see white. I don't think you'll be able to see it once it's mounted though. I didn't know the double sided tape was already pre-mounted so this makes it very difficult to wrap the spoiler in glossy cf. I will barely be able to cover the edges since the tape is almost right at the edge. I might have to remove all the double sided tape and buy some more after.

Haha am I missing something from that video? I thought it was going to show you getting stuck
You need reverse LEDs as well lol.

Arthur you getting those F14's listed in the BM? I saw them posted a while back and was like dayyyuuummm. IMO they look better than RPF1's. Going for a decent price too, unless shipping kills the deal.

I've been watching youtube videos of the RV6 true dual exhaust. If I had a manual I'd jump on that in a heartbeat.

Oh I know the sound would be the same but in terms of performance, I rather save my money for a manual car to do upgrades. The auto transmission robs so much power I feel like doing upgrades would only bring it up to par to a 6MT. For now, I'm just interested in aesthetic upgrades.

On another note, my car started acting really funny Saturday. When I shifted from P to R, it makes a loud boom noise. On the Henday, when I hit 110km/h, the steering wheel and seats started vibrating like crazy. Hovering around 100km/h, the vibration wasn't as bad and under 90km/h it wasn't present. Really weird since I've never had vibration issues before. I read some threads on vibration issues and jeezus there are so many potential problems. Have any of you guys had/have vibration issues?

^Loud boom? Really? How many clicks do you have? Did it happen again? As for the vibration, it could be your wheels not being balanced properly as well. Try cleaning your wheels first?

I'm at 108,XXXkm. I had a quieter boom today and then after a while nothing when I shifted from P to R. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident and it fixed itself. As for the vibration, I won't find out until tomorrow if it still happens when I'm on the Henday. Could it have been the extra snow on Saturday throwing off the balance? It if still happens tomorrow, I'll give it a wash and report back to see how it goes.

^ Wow. That's shitty for the tranny. Do you have an extended warranty? The vibration could be from the snow/mud and people go to kal tire a lot (especially vehicles with steel rims) and complain about vibration. Try to wash your car properly and go from there. I hope the vibration goes away.

I just go my ticket today, 200$. Best timing when I want to buy wheels.

My black TL used to make a loud clunk when I shift from park to reverse when I parked it in my buddies driveway on a incline. From what I remember its normal?

Alright at least it's reassuring others seem to have the same clunk when shifting from P to R. Although that doesn't seem right to begin with.

See Arthur.. radar detector should be your priority before anything else right now lol.

the clunk noise is always there in auto trannys. you are SUPPOSE to use hand brakes every time you park the car, doesnt matter if its on incline/decline or flat. If you dont use hand brakes, your park gear is holding the weight of the car. so thats why there is a louder clunk when you park on a greater incline then a flat surface. always a good habit to pull your hand brakes when parking, other wise its not very good for your tranny due to the stress on the bearings which hold the gears/shafts etc...

@Vince haha. I learned my lesson now. I hope. LOL

@Mitch, that's weird. I've never had vibrations with my winter tires. I even drove to Calgary one time and QE2 was dry. I tried doing 150 and never had a vibration. I guess it depends on the thread pattern.

@EDMTsx, I work there every saturday. haha. Which tires did you get? Hakk Rs?

@Arthur - Do you guys do coilover/camber installs there? haha. Nah I wanted Hakk Rs, but I bought blizzaks from WheelsPlus last winter. Just had Kal-tire put my winter rims/tires on.

^They do install coilovers and camber kits. Tell them my name if you visit there and they will probably give you a discount. I'm not sure how much but it's worth a try?

Interesting so I have absolutely no vibrations today on the Henday. It must have just been an odd day. I do have winter tires on, a set of Blizzaks. They've never given me a problem before, just last Saturday but it looks like it fixed itself.

When parking, I always engage the emergency brake. Here is my process:

1. Come to a full stop
2. Keep foot on brake, pull e-brake all the way up
3. Let go of brake
4. Put it in P

I've read a few other ways but this is how I've been doing it. Here is another process that I was reading up on:

1. Come to a full stop
2. Keep foot on brake, pull e-brake all the way up
3. Put car into neutral, release foot off brake
4. Put car into P

Is there a big difference to either method? As for shifting from P to D:

1. Put foot on brake
2. Disengage e-brake
3. Put into R, then D

Or should it be like this:

1. Put foot on brake
2. Put car in R
3. Release e-brake

OR, is there a different way I should be doing this and I've got it all wrong?

Since it was warmer today, I'm guessing it was just snow build up on suspension or wheels

Lol do it! Get yourself back into a 3G! The only thing is, since you had a 6MT before it may feel a bit slower

That 6MT KBP TL-S is still for sale.. If only..

See but with that method, since you engage P first before engaging the e-brake, doesn't that still put all the stress on the gears? I was under the impression that by off loading all the weight onto the e-brake, this uses the e-brake to hold the car instead of putting wear on the transmission.

TLs are getting cheap now and getting later this year, even in auto for a DD would not be a bad idea. But I have an itch for a wagon lately

that would still put stress on tranny.

-Stop the car
-Pull e-brake
-put car in P
-turn off

-turn car on
-press brake and put car in D or P
-release e-brake

that should be a sequence that puts the lest strain on tranny. I don't do it on my 2G, and if I am on a driveway and I just put it in park, and then when I wanna leave, it jerks and makes a noise.

^ I do that method. But what I'm wondering is, before you put it into P, do you fully release the brake and let the e-brake catch the car or after you pull the e-brake, do you pop it into P? Because if you do the latter method, wouldn't this still be putting the remaining weight that hasn't been caught on the e-brake onto the transmission? This is what makes me wonder if I should pop it into N or let it fully stop with the e-brake while in D to let the car fully stop and be caught on the e-brake before putting it into P.

you can put it into N and then P when the e brake catches it, that would be the best way. But if you don't put it into N before, your car shouldn't be moving too much when the e brake is applied. And if it moves a little, like a tiny jerk, that's not gonna make it straneous on the tranny if the car is in P. Just park on your drive way and try it out.
