I also saw a TL-S part out a couple weeks ago. I was going to buy his side mirrors but he stopped replying to me. We already agreed on a price but never replied after. Oh well.

My white delivery truck dropped my TL-S front sway bar(new bushings, new links) today. I'll try to get it installed tomorrow. Time to put the rsb to stiff settings.

 

Damn you're just going through these mods like nothing. Are you going to upgrade your brakes? Did you buy a set of aluminium pedals? They add a nice touch to the interior.

do your headlights, and get some cold cathode for license plate lights if you don't have that. I don't know what else you can do. Maybe type s mirrors?

 

BBK time!!! If not you can get hawk hps pads or EBC red stuff.personally I don't think my ebc yellow stuff ever warms up enough other than the track days.If you do intend to track then upgrade to a bbk for sure.ive had my rotors glowing bright red before and they didn't fade.on the stock base brakes I think I would have died already.

I've tried the hawk before my ebc's,found they actually hold up ok after repeated stops from 140km/h to about 50km/h for about 8 laps.EBC however will not fade at all even when the rotors are ready to melt!!

 

^ I'm not going to bring my car to the track but I want something beefier than the 5AT brakes for sure. We shall see, I just hope I don't get the speeding ticket I'm expecting. Haha

Here is a DIY for the cold cathode. I'll most likely be doing it in the spring since my LEDs aren't cutting it compared to the potential light output of the cathodes.

hey guys sorry i been so absent, if you do get those mirrors ill help you wire the passanger side, sooo easy, also im going to be making custom sub boxes for the 3rd gen tls the will be about 300 each so let me know if anyone wants them, lots of downtime at work.
i got a set of type s tails to put on and gunna order the aspec side skirts soon so IF ANYONE WANTS TYPE S SIDES you can have them for like 75 bucks i have to much shit in my garage, lol I ALSO STILL HAVE THOSE AXIS SHINES FOR SALE so let me know hmm myron ive never thought of the cold cathode lights , maybe i shall do that

 

Everyone always does their headlights and side markers and all other lighting, but cold cathode really lights up the rear of the car. If you have switchbacks in the front, front is lit up well, but back isn't, I think that looks weird.

^I've always wondered what's the status of your 3G now.

I know how to change an oil too (I work at kaltire every saturday), but I bring it to Southview just so they won't void my warranty until 2013.

 

I use Amsoil 0W-20 Synthetic and an Amsoil filter rated for 15k miles. I change it way earlier than recommended though, whenever the MID reminds me my oil life is <10%. I change oil probably 3 times a year. I've switched my other fluids with Amsoil as well, drain and filled my power steering fluid a few times, did a 3x3 for my ATF, and plan to do another 1x3 once I switch my 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches.

I usually try to avoid going to the dealership, I prefer going to private shops. I wouldn't be surprised if their "synthetic" is one of the lowest grades. They probably don't use full synthetic oil either since there wouldn't be as much profit. For timing belt, I'll just go to Wilson's Auto Tech instead.

6 more weeks and my car is stock :-( I had some wheels that I was thinking of putting on the car but I sold them to a friend because he really wanted them. If I find some cheap coils I might just slam it on stock wheels and ride dirty haha unless my transmission explodes

 

^I hope you can find a used coils in the blackmarket. Or or, you can always cut the springs. lolol. How many km's on the 2G now? Still running strong?

225500km as of this morning. Tranny is slipping a little when it's cold but other than that, it's all good. I think my suspension is shitting the bed too tho.

I was gonna yea, I got quotes for fixing the bend and getting them powdercoated, but my friend wanted them for his prelude so I sold it to him.
