Sounds sweet, how low will you be able to slam it when it's parked?

Picked up my Amsoil from fender4 yesterday, getting it changed on Fri. I hope my mpg increase like some have said when they change to synthetic.

Some portions of the car will be capable of sitting on the ground. We are going to try and get the bump stops in there just right so on a system failure, it will be at least 1/2 an inch off the ground.

Not really My whole goal here was to be able to drop it 2" for that handling and look, however lift it up for rough roads and more comfortable rides down the interstate. Slamming it and all the other tricks are just fun by-products

Well, I guess if you are a close knit group of mod crazy guys, then you'll have lots to talk about.

Consider that this group is just under 2yrs old and has had several meets, including a couple of track meets and an all day dyno meet.

We also share ideas and offer help in a number of ways to fellow participants. Many guys have gone out of their way to help other out in making decisions about mod, and even helped do the mods.

So, yes, we do have a lot to talk about.

Looking forward to your participation and joing us for our next get together. Which I suggest should be before the Christmas Holidays.

Ruf
So how about it guys? How about a get together on the evening of the 20th or anytime the 21st?

CL-S Sightings

1) If you were in town this weekend civic, I saw a black 03 CL-S. I didn't get a look at the driver but the vehicle was turning onto Park (or Parker) from Preston heading West at around 3pm in the afternoon on Sunday. Just curious.

2) Last night I saw a Silver 03 CL-S (actuall 03 ). Older guy driving it. I would have played with him but the rain sort of put a damper on that parade.

There are all these Maxima's and Acura's () and I want to play with all of them! (slowly going mad with lack of racing frustration)

Oh, and the Maxima guys and I will be having a two part meet this Saturday. All are welcome. We are meeting at the Eckerds @ Lovers & Greenville in Dallas at 5:30pm and then at around 7:00pm we will be carefully caravaning (yeah right, that will be a first) over to Mondos (a nice Italian resturant) next to the Galleria.

Don't worry about it, modding the car is a PERFECT excuse to missing any meet. Especially when you're putting air bags on your car .

P.S. I'M GETTING AN INTAKE FOR X-MAS! WOOOHOOO

Yeah, my thoughts as well, but I want to get together with all of you just as bad Nothing like male testosterone and cars to make an evening fun!

cool! I think that will be my next mod, however I am concerned with hydrolocking the engine from water intake on a CAI. I probably shouldn't worry about it if I am not driving through ponds....

I wish I was getting the CAI, but all I'm getting is a normal intake for now. When I do, I will definitly be getting the bypass valve to go with it. Best $50 you can add to a CAI!

YES I KNOW, AND IT'S DRIVING ME MAD! Hopefully we shall receive normal Texas weather and we'll get a day that's like 70 degrees in the middle of winter and i'll race on that day with DuckBlue (i'm praying to God as we speak)

Info

Just in case anyone may care, apparently Ennis decided to open again for Saturday. I was given this info from MrEous on the Maxima forums so I have yet to confirm. The Maxima guys and I won't be able to go due to the fact that it's our meet night, but I thought I'd share the info.

I checked their site and it looks like this Sat. is a real race night, not a night where we can go race.

What is the purpose of PM's if you have to tell them about it here? Don't you guys get the same pop-up alerts I do when I have a PM?

No other reason than to raise my post count. Some people may not have that pop up alert turned on.

I don't think I said it earlier, but congrats on your (soon to be) air ride. Do you get it back from the shop this week? That is going to be one sweet ride. You and Bluesman need to hook up and compare notes, btw. Cheers, Inferno
