Apple: iPhone News and Discussion Thread
I pay $100 + $45 (three lines) and get a discount off the top, to the tune of about $133 with taxes for 10GB. For 30GB I'd be paying about $158 or so. BYOD gets the $25 discount as well.
Yeah the thing is next year I'm upgrading. It makes no sense to pay $40 a month on a device I bought through them. I get it it's part of the plan but fuck that. I pay $215 now after $14.99 Beats Music for both lines and taxes.
Im currently still running iOS8 OG release on my 5s and iPad 3 with no issues. Couple minor glitches, nothing worthing getting annoyed over.
I am going to wait to update iOS8 til its all worked out.
Also, almost got a 128gb gold plus tonight...but it was gold and I don't love that color.

I like my gold 6 looks great
So at the gym yesterday someone asked if my Note 2 was an iPhone 6 Plus.
I did see that my friend's 6+ is a little taller than mine and def thinner but about the same width. Very good looking phone

for At&t customers it makes more sense to buy the phone without contract and in the end you will make out better than if you had a contact. Read this:

Yeah we discussed this as the $40 per month is the deal killer which they barely disclose if you don't stick with Next. The main factor is will the Next subsidy cover the Next price and is Unlimited vs 30GB data worth it. The X factor is the data speed. Apparently the 30GB is unthrottled and the "True LTE" while the Unlimited has 5GB that is supposedly a little slower in LTE and totally throttled after 5GB. I'm going to have a real hard breakdown. The unknown variable for me is cost of the phone upfront since I got my Note 2 for a $1 as it was already old. I need a Stunna graph

If you knew you wanted a new device every year, then it might make more sense to go next if you don't want to deal with reselling.
