I'll be lucky to get mine before 5pm today. I don't like that they used UPS. I got my iPad3 and rMBP via Fedex damn near first thing in the morning.

Just saw a coworker who waited in line at the Apple store this morning to get his iPhone 5. It looks really good in person, not too big at all. I like it.

I still hate the new Apple Maps though.

The majority of Android phones are running 16:9 since forever. Its the reason why we don't get those annoying black bars when watching videos...Apple actually used it as a con when comparing it to the iPad's 4:3 because reading books is better at 4:3.

UPS guy

Anyone running 6.0 on a 4S experience decreased battery life? It's not terrible but it's noticeable.

Next week sounds about right if it's Canada Post. People in the states get them today. Guess Henry will have to wait a week to get his hands on one.

Apple accused of copying Swiss clock design in iOS6

Apple has been accused of copying a classic Swiss railway clock design in an app shipped with the latest version of its iPad and iPhone operating system, iOS.

Apple launched the latest version of iOS this week, including an iPad alarm clock application featuring analogue faces. Schweizerische Bundesbahnen, the federal train operator in Switzerland, claims that these clock faces infringe a copyright design created for the organisation in 1955 by Hans Hilfiker.

The minimal design has become a national icon and is now licensed by Mondaine as a wrist watch.

SBB spokesman Christian Ginsig told Swiss newspaper Tages Anzeiger that the alleged use of the clock proved that it was a "true designer piece" and that the discovery had been a "joy". However, he also said that it was unauthorised and that SBB would be talking to Apple.

An SBB spokesman said: "We are in contact with Apple to seek together an agreement about the rights." Apple was not available for comment at the time of writing.

Didn't he order 3?

Maybe we shouldn't mention his name. Last thing anyone wants is him in this thread.

That's one thing that has cracked me up about the android group.. "I'll never buy an iPhone because you can't change the batteries"
Now there are a handful of Androids that share that same issue.

Now there are a handful of Androids that share that same issue.
And more of them will, as they try to make their phones with better cleaner designs.

but it looks like from the photo that it is 'more easily' replaceable?

I think I'm gonna post that pic on my FB and say battery is now replaceable, likely cause a huge flamewar lol
