When I open up CNBC real time app, it just opens up an loads the stock prices right away. Took a second or 2 on my 4.

wow. offering $169 for my AT&T iPhone4...that's pretty good

 

I honestly had no idea...I thought the reason for the iPhone5's odd shape is that it's trying to conform to a 16:9 display

 

Depending on the model, Amazon offers even more. Gonna be selling mine to them hopefully soon. They state an iPhone4 in great condition should net you $225 IIRC for a 32GB Black iPhone4.

 

Though amazon.com doesn't pay you. You get a "gift card". STill better prices than most, I sold them my iPad2 and I have a label to send in my iP4 (32g) for $212 up to $250.

 

For frequent shoppers on Amazon I could use that gift card. Could get me another lens

the reviews I've read about this phone insist that it's not too small but it still feels small to me. i LOVE at&t's LTE and I love how fast this phone is compared to the iphone4. but damn, this size actually has me considering returning this phone (they say I have 30 days) and maybe getting the htc one x or samsung gs3. or maybe something better towards the holidays. am I being petty here?

 

Battery life is just as bad as the 4s

 

huh, most reports were saying battery life was as advertised and pretty good.

 

I notice that is does eat much faster than my 4 did, but it is much more powerful than my 4(not 4S).



Have you gone through the initial battery charge and then completely recharged it?

battery life on my 4 has taken a huge dump since loading iOS 6

 

Can't help it. Battery life on my 4, then 4s and now 5 have been about the same. With the way I use it, it lasts me about 4-5 hours. On my 4s I had a Mophie case (a few of them) and got a few more hours out of it. Ill get one when its out for the 5.

It is what it is. I like full brightness, everything on, check it a lot and use a lot of apps, Im a power user.

I had both my 4s and 5 today and they lasted about the same amount of time.

 

Hmmm my 4 seems to be holding up ok. What apps are you running? I wonder if there is an app that isnt optimized for iOS6 that may be causing the issue.

 

Apple did a test, I dont think its defective, but I use my Ipad some days the same way and the Ipad keeps its charge very well (yes I know there is more room for a battery)

 

 

IOS still rocks. My Nexus 7 decided it had no more room to update apps this morning after sitting idle for a week. Makes sense to me.

 

facebook, safari, stocks, mail, camera, pandora in the car for the boys...nothing extraneous.

 

Ohh I never use full brightness, it just wears out the backlight faster. I use about 66%-80%

 

Hmmm no way to force the 5 to use edge network when in an area indoors with poor reception.

Also phone still gets warm when using it in an area of poor signal.

 

If you compare it to a 4.5+ inch screen then yea it's small.

But overall I'm happy with this size. Even thou I hate the sizes of smartphones.

Size is really good, Apple did a good job with the dimensions, its bigger but not too big and most importantly as they advertise, easy to hold and use.

 

Ants, the Galaxy is bigger than this, that's not what you want if you're thinking of returning it.

I think the iPhone is a great size now. The screen has a larger viewing area and is so crisp it's almost scary. I'm very happy with this phone.

 

Love the phone. LTE is awesome. iOS6 is very fast.Badly need a case. Battery life is shiiiate.

Dumbasses AT&T deactivated my unlimited plan, now temporary on 3GB plan, they've promised to reinstate it. I will destroy them if they won't.

Excuse given was when I did the upgrade at wee hours of the morning on the 12th, their system was not running fully. So when I've clearly selected Unlimited LTE..it was just dropped and not added.

 

This thing is FLYING on my WIFI, Safari is like my desktop speed. And this morning while getting some breakfast sandwiches at McD's, I notice phone showing 3G, was . Then when I got the the little league field, LTE was shining. Damn did it move fast.

I now have a problem with iTunes. With the Iranian hacking BoA on Wednesday, my credit card has become a dud. They are sending me a new one. Didn't know this until I couldn't get into iTunes and verify my account because (security code) of the new device added and being used.

So now I have to wait for a new CC in the mail and can't download any new apps. I have asked Apple to remove credit card from my account, so I came use a gift card balance that I have.

 

How do I make mine do this?
