OMFG I was also pinching to zoom a bunch of times last night at a concert trying to snap a zoomed pic but it would NOT zoom. I just tried it this morning and it worked on the first try

 

Just take the pic unzoomed and crop it after. It's the same thing.

 

I don't zoom at all.

this just in... video color reproduction on iPhone 4 is better than 4S.... wondering whether the same goes for photos, too.. these are out of the box videos, my friends took em on Thursday.

Genius scan can do this and jotnot you can email the pdf. Genius scan may be the answer....

Am I missing it or is the ability to add a tab while typing missing from iOS even in its fifth iteration?

 

My Mom was due for an upgrade but didn't want to drop $200 on the 4S. So I told her I'll give her my 4 and $120 bucks for her 4S.

So Saturday we make the trade, restore, sync up, etc. HUUUUUUUUGE color issues on both the LCD and the camera of the 4S. Like my 4 LCD is perfect, bright, deep, and white based. Hers looked like it had coffee stains in between the lcd and the glass.

So pissed I did all that work just to have to exchange it (and likely wait).

Not happy.

 

^^^ in line with what a couple of my friends said about it. hey, an upgrade is not necessarily better. I'll wait for the 5.

 

^It's not *SUPPOSE* to be like that. There are just issues on some, especially the black versions.

I have other friends with 4Ss and theirs looks fine. So do their pictures.

I think he's talking about the glue that hold the screen to the glass. It's been known to appear on the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 and apparently the glue turns invisible after a while.

WebOS has a "tab" button but it doesn't do what it's supposed to. (at least in azine) It tabs to the next text input field.

 

Probably not the best place to ask but, anyone else experiencing wifi issues after upgrading their Iphone/Ipad to Ios5?

GF's ipad keeps dropping wifi randomly after about 5 minutes of use, requiring a reboot of her Ipad. Her 4s keeps the signal fine though.

 

That's what I did. The day I bought mine I tried to use the camera and it flickered and then the shutter that appears when you take a pic would appear on the screen and stay closed. I took it to Apple and they tried to diagnose it and couldn't. They happened to have one in the back and swapped it out on the spot. My new one has no issues whatsoever luckily.

 

Ordered my 4s from AT&T on 10/14 and it's supposed to be delivered within 21-28 days from that date. I really want it before I go to SEMA next week

 

Damn, I called around to a couple stores in the area last Monday and they ended up telling me which ones had it. There was like two in the area, had my wife run over and pick it up for me. I figured ordering would be a long wait...

 

The ONLY reason why I ordered through AT&T is because Apple said my bill was going to be $110 a month. Ordering through the AT&T website my bill is only going to be $63 a month since my family gets some discounts and such.

 

I'm not sure how much I like that you can call back missed calls from the lock screen w/o entering in your passcode....

Which case yall using? I ordered an E13ctron S4v and these fuckers are taking forever to ship this shit. Awesome aluminum bumper case but jeez, no customer service whatsoever.

 

I just went with one in the AT&T store that came in a combo pack. normal size case, not the huge otterbox that came with a holster. The main thing i was looking for was the holster but since the case wasnt huge and didn't look bad I snagged it.

One of my friends showed me a cool one on amazon though that's a normal size and good looking case that doubles as a charger.

I use a Mophie, best thing I have ever bought for a phone. I can go through the phone battery and Mophie in a day.

 

It's funny thou, everything else asks for a passcode when you swipe to go to it. Texts, mail, calendar etc etc.

Just not missed calls.

I wanted a case that was unobtrusive and attractive, and wound up with the incase perforated snap case in black that the apple store carries. It is perfect for what I was looking for, and I definitely recommend it.

 

iPhone users, my home button works when it wants to, and I can't ever quickly invoke the running apps bar... it takes like 10 clicks of trial and error.

I've tried recalibration by holding the power button until the slide off appears, then I held lightly the home button to readjust sensitivity, but it didn't help.

I do have Apple Care, but maybe I can fix this myself.. ideas please.

 

I'm having connection problems with both after the upgrade. Also trouble pairing back with my TL.

 

Make sure your dock connector is clean.
