Yea, I don't care for a larger screen, I already hate the size of the iPhone.
If that rumor of the nano iPhone came true, I would've gotten that.

 

I like the new screen size and moving the headphone jack.... hope the back is aluminum or some other metal with no glass!!

 

When they jumped from HD to retina all they did was double the res. They didn't change the aspect ratio. So it was fairly easy to change apps and or the OS just did it for the app.

But this would be different. Unless then employ some different setup like mentioned earlier it will be a PITA.

Honestly, why wouldn't you want a larger screen if the physical size of the unit doesn't change? Lol. Have any of you taken apart a new iPhone? SOOOOOOOOOO much room for improvement really. I myself was looking at it and came up with half a dozen ideas to make it smaller.

 

But it is bigger. It will be taller and almost 16:9 ratio (approx 1-2 pixels short)

 

How do you know it's bigger? It may be bigger but the phone won't feel half an inch bigger...

I had AT&T unlock my 16gb iPhone 4 and sold it... Got myself a 32gb

If you are off contract, call up AT&T and they will do it for you. Basically, they send you an email in a few days saying you can do it and then you restore in iTunes and it is unlocked

 

I asked ATT in store if they would do this when I cancel my contract before I go to London and they said no. Maybe the sales guy was wrong.

do you have the 4S or just 4? how long are you into your current contract?

 

Thats the issue I think, its a 4s and they said you need have had the phone for 3 years, which is not possible.

 

3 years? AT&T contracts are 2 years. anyways the 4S hasnt been out a year. so you're out of luck on unlocking it, unless you can do it by jailbreak.

 

Doesnt matter too much since Ill get a new free one when I start a new contract in London
