Apple's new iPhone will use bigger 4.6-inch display: report
Reuters) - Apple Inc's new iPhone will have a sharper and bigger 4.6-inch "retina" display and is set to be launched around the second quarter, a South Korean media reported on Thursday.
Sales of the iPhone, first introduced in 2007 with the touch screen template now adopted by its rivals, account for around half Apple's total sales.
Apple has decided on the bigger 4.6-inch display for its next iPhone and started placing orders to its suppliers, the Maeil Business Newspaper said, quoting an unnamed industry source.
Its major display suppliers LG Display and Samsung Electronics Co declined to comment.
Samsung, which is also the biggest challenger to Apple in smartphones, uses 4.6-inch OLED display for its flagship Galaxy S II smartphone, introduced in April last year.
The high-definition "retina" display--containing several times as many pixels within the same area-- is used in the latest iPad released earlier this month.
The latest iPhone 4S was introduced in October last year.

What is the easiest way to copy photos from a pc into the camera roll folder on an iphone? I know i can easily make a folder and sync it through itunes but it'd be nice if i could dump the photos into the camera roll folder rather than have a second folder.

Or do you mean custom folders to show up on your iPhone? The structure of tagging on iPhone itself wont let you do that... cause it sucks

I'm sure most of what we are hearing now about the new iPhone is pretty much speculation/hopes or rumors. If the release date of Oct. is to be believed, then I doubt we will hear much of anything in the way of actual facts, at least for a few more months..
With that said, I am due for an upgrade and am not sure if I want to wait till October. My daughter has her eyes on my phone and I don't think I could put her off till October.
I have always copied photos FROM that folder and never tried copying pics TO it. I had already synced a folder and was trying to figure out how to move the pics but the synced folder doesn't show up in explorer as the DCIM folder does so I was baffled. I was over complicating the whole process! I'll give it a whirl tonight.

I was worried I was going to get the thermal shutdown warning it was getting so warm.
Ended up doing a little better when I switched to edge. I used the "Mark the Spot" app to tell ATT to fix this shit

I take it you've never been to a large convention or event before?
Shit happens all the time with the massive amounts of people using the network at the same time.
My 4 gets warm/hot a lot in the subway tunnels during my commute and in areas of downtown San Francisco with poor reception/overloaded network

My goodness, I'm currently over seas and I'm using my 4GB iPhone. Dang this thing is slow compared to the 4. And the non retina display makes me not want to use this, it's much more diffcult to read websites and stuff.
I shouldve JB my 4 and unlocked it before I left the US.
