Wow can't wait to update my iPhone to 4.3 looks like the browser speeds are improved by alot.

Also figured the back camera would suck.

 

I didn't notice anything speed improvement.

 

I keep trying to decide if I want one of these or any tablet device for that matter. I know it would be great for sitting around the house surfing things like forums and news sites but I really can't see myself using it for much more than that.

 

I notice pages on AZ are loading faster....

 

It'll mostly effect pages i think with lists of JavaScript and stuff like that. I think

i sold my ipad to a coworker yesterday for 400. im going to go to delaware apple to try to get an ipad2 . tax free

 

Not sure how for you have to drive, but you'll end up paying the tax in gas, if you have a ways to drive.

 

about 30 minutes or so . i live close to the delaware border and i have to drive to the christiana mall

iphone 4 was crazy long lines but still was able to walk in throughout the day to find one for yourself regardless of the rumors of shortage expected and what not

i'm gonna try to walk in at like 7 to see if i can buy one without waiting in line

It depends on your local. In LA...if you didnt get an iphone 4 on release day...you didnt get one for awhile.

The original ipad had lines as well...and I'm sure 2 will also...but I'm not expecting 2's release to be as crazy.

My mother is going to upgrade to a 2...so we may venture out later today and see what its like.

 

Seems like online sales are at 2- 3 weeks now.

Yep...when I was up for a baby feeding at 3AM it was 3-5 days...should have just ordered it for my mom then. oh well.

 

The marketers at Apple are genius.

1) Let's not let the fanboys be able to have an online order arrive on 3/11, that way they will go to the stores and make long lines. The press will love it. We won't even turn on ordering until 3/11.
2) Call at 3/11 1am Pacific, Wake UP asshole! The fanboys are still ordering. They really don't want to leave Mom's basement. Shit, change delivery to 2-3 weeks. That will get them to the stores and make long lines.

According to people on Twitter, just about every Apple store in Northern Virginia is now sold out.

 

I got one! I went to BB at 5 and it was line out the door. I wasn't feeling that so I went to walmart. They only got one and some fool waited waited for 1.5hrs to get that one Then I finished doing my errands and decided to swing by the apple store around 7pm. The line was STILL out door of the mall and down the sidewalk! I wasn't having that either. So I drove home and stopped by the best buy by my house that I bought my iPad at last year. Walked in and they had plenty in stock. They didn't have any of the new ones on display. I asked to see a white one IRL before making a decision, they said they couldn't do that. So I bought a black one instead. I didn't get a smart cover either because I didn't like the colors they had left.

So local Best Buy FTW again!
