Sorry Doc but says here Note 4 nor S6 you can't. Probably means N6 included also but i didn't check. Looks like the newer phones don't have the second radio and Sprint doesn't offer VoLTE yet.

When my G2 broke I had a brief stent with the ipone 5s. I HATED the fact that you couldn't browse while talking. Got my G3 then I was back to porn while talking.

Ended up getting this even though I had my concerns. I hate the thought of spending too much money on my phone. This is pretty damned good for the money.

Its pretty smooth so far. The battery life has gotten worlds better....not sure if its the phone doing some learning or something, or whether its me limiting autostart apps, using the phone's boost function, and keeping the screen fairly dim. But it lasts more than a day with some pretty intensive use (youtube, multiple video games sessions, social media, etc) and will charge to almost full in an hour.

I'm using the google now launcher so I don't have to deal with that ZenUI stuff. ZenUI seems a little half baked compared to others, but Google Now runs smoothly and doesn't have any affect on battery life. Camera is decent, but I'm no expert. The speaker isn't that great, but it works for me. Anyways, for $300, I'm not going to complain.

Anyone ever feel like potentially going back to Apple after the 6/6+ was introduced? I kinda want to consolidate my phone and tablet into one device, and while I like my Moto X and I've enjoyed the customization, I'm thinking of selling while there is still some value and picking up the Plus.

I just can't go back to Samsung. That's how bad I hated it, that I would rather go Apple for a phablet than Samsung.

Apparently, they'll be getting a Google Now clone. I think its called Proactive or something.

I'll be patiently waiting for Apple peeps like my wife to tell me about their 'new' features.

Then I'll wait for them to tell me that the Apple integrates it better (even if they've never even tried it out on an Android OS).

Then I'll wait for them to call my phone a 'Droid' at some point and show me that they can do multi-ethnic emojis.

OMG! I'm in the same situation... My wife is a long time Apple fan, though she's not narrow minded, she actually wanted to get a Note 3 right after I got mine, but the day after Christmas, we went looking for one, but sold out everywhere (that day, and on Rogers), so she ended up sticking with an iPhone and got the 5S. But yeah, every time they get an iOS update I'll play with it for a few minutes to see what's new. The biggest copy cat update was iOS 8 IMO, I was soooo pissed and got all worked up and knew that Apple fanboys would be saying Apple integrates it better.

oh and psssssssst. some of those Apple fanboys are in AZ

Nope, made it worse and totally fubarred bluetooth connections... The Samsung Gear Manager app does not work under the update. Plenty of unhappy campers on the app website via bad reviews....

re: iOS 9 split-window multi-tasking, how can they pull that off? Don't Apple devices typically have just 1gb of RAM?

Oops, bad habit of skimming.

If the iPhone 6S+/6+s/whatever had more RAM + split-window multi-tasking, I'd be sold. I've gotten tired of Android's update cycle, the battery drain/Lollipop issues, and I can't be bothered with rooting unless it's a Nexus. But even Nexuses have been streaky.

That and all those third party keyboard issues.

Mostly where I'm at as well. I know that I'm approaching the cliff as it comes to operability and resale value, which is what really prompted me to look at alternatives.

I just got 5.1 yesterday. That was underwhelming.

Yeah I admit Lolli didn't help my Note 4 battery. My kid was watching a video with the battery at 11%. I took the phone away and cleared all the apps. Next thing you know it reads 3%.

The % is not very consistent similar to gas needles.

the first 50% on my Note 3 can last a long time and the last 50% will disappear at 3X the speed.

Question for the people with Tmobile Jump.

I was wondering, since we can upgrade for *free* when the phone is paid at or more than 50% of the total retail price.
Then is there going to be price difference on the NEW phone between upgrade right now vs. 3 months later?
The reason i am asking is I am eligible to *jump*/upgrade right now but since i want to wait till Sept for the Note 5, then i will have to continue to pay off my current Note 3 till Sept even I am already eligible right now.

Are they going to apply the payment from now to Sept towards my new phone or i am just wasting my $$ trying to wait.

I could call 611, but I'd rather not to talk to them if i don't have to.

I noticed turning off location services returns it to mostly normal. GPS has been erratic ever since 5.0. On occasion I'll be at my desk with my Note 4 in my pocket, and it'll get hot for no reason.

Sony phablet with a Snapdragon 820 next year I hope.

Updating apps really heats up the phone. I always have location off unless I'm using Waze which is maybe 1-2x a week.

Battery Widget Reborn. Temperature, trends, etc. It's apps like these that keep me with Android, at least for now.

I gotta say...give me the hardware (and TouchID) of the 6+ with the OS of 5.1. I'd be a very happy man.

Speaking of which, if you have a fingerprint scanner on your phone...

I disabled it on my Note 4 at first because it took too many tries to register. But they worked on the scanner in an update, and I read a tip on how to improve recognition. Just register the same finger multiple times. Unlocks on first try almost all the time now.

I never use my phone security so I don't use the scanner or PIN tbh
