Honestly, I don't see why the Jets cannot beat the Pats this weekend and as a fan I fully expect them to leave NE victorious.
I guess the J E T S met my expectations.

Anyone still want to discuss that week 13 45-3 Patriots win or can we put it to rest now?

He was on the field for the kick return, and sat for the first drive. I really wouldn't call that punished

one thing that was forgotten by me until I was just reminded. Early in the season I repeatedly said that they will never make the post season with this defense. Amazingly they kept winning with firepower, all the while tugging along an anchor of a defense. Those young players really turned it around in the second half.

Yes they collectively ate a dick today....but to have been 14-2 with the worst defense in the league for a large portion of the season is pretty impressive

Edit: AND I completely forgot about the whole trading away one of the best receivers of all time partway through the season thing

Damn I wanted the Pats to win just because I wanted Fred Taylor to get a SB ring.

Go Packers...

Yes, that expression on TB's face was priceless and I'm going the rest of the night. But tomorrow, Pittsburgh will have my undivided attention.

That said, I DO care what happens next week. The goal is winning the Super Bowl!! Don't forget, we were just here last year (AFC Championship game). So anything less is failure.

...and quick Stat for the Sanchez haters:

NY Jets C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT RATING
Sanchez 16/25 194 7.8 3 0 127.3

Moot in a divisional playoff game but, keep it coming. I've got no problem seeing the boys in green caveat their way to a Lombardi trophy.

I can understand their defense isnt the best, but IMO that isnt what killed them today. The dropped passes killed them. The 7 minute drive in the fourth quarter that ended with a field goal killed them. Five sacks on Brady killed them. Yea, the defense gave up 4 touchdowns, but how much did their offense give up?

Yes the pats did beat themselves, but the jets also played well.

Now if they can go into pittsburgh and beat a revitalized defense, they deserve it. but i dont know.

I'd be worried about injuries.. Heath Miller would've played on the O-line if another player went down. And the CB situation was just as bad. Not sure what the injury report will bring but they aren't in good shape at all...

I actually think that the JETS have a better chance against Pittsburgh than they would have had against Baltimore. And I'm not just saying that because they beat Pittsburgh this year.

Gee...Brady finally gets some pressure in the pocket instead of time to read an entire novel. And look...he sucks.

True. I will also say that there were a couple times that he was able to "read an entire novel" and he was still unable to complete a pass. The Jets played very good defense in this game.

I'm just saying that any QB can be pretty good with the amount of time Brady usually has to throw.

Probably better to have a harmless kink with the wife than to go out committing acts considered felonious throughout most of the western world.

That said, neither will likely affect the outcome of the game.
