NFL: 2010 Season Discussion Thread
#2922
OK, ESPN poses the questions;
If the Steelers win today, does that put them in discussion with Cowboys and Patriots dynasty??
How effing stupid is that damn question?? When it comes to championships they piss on those teams. And how they hell do they talk about the Cowboys, they haven't won crap in 15 years??

Don't worry about it, the NFL didn't even use Ben for the players likeness posted on the outside of the stadium, they used Rodgers and Troy. They know who's better.

I've heard quite the opposite, more talk of how Rodgers is a better QB from snap to end of route. And that Ben is an average QB between that time frame but one of the best after the route is over. Which I've thought is an excellent comparison. I actually wanted to play the Bears b/c I like Rodgers and the Pack in the West. ugh.

So what kind of friendly wager you thinking of?

As much as I want the Packers to win (or I should say Steelers to lose) the fact that majority seem to favor GB (in general, not just AZ) and Vegas odds are against Steelers, will only help fuel the drive for pittsburgh to win.

Gotta root for the Packers, Rodgers grew up a Niners fan and is a local guy anyway *sobs quietly*
Plus if the Steelers win another, it'll put them two Lombardis ahead of the Niners

Seeing as I neither like nor particularly hate either team, this will be the second straight SB that I'm not planning to (and will not) watch. I'll catch the recap on ESPN.COM in the morning (or at least between tonight and preseason 2011 in August).

That "award" didn't come out until this week, they had his image up BEFORE the announcement. Hell Ben wasn't even out there for the coin toss.
