The curse of Carl Brutananadilewski.

But seriously, benching Welker was probably the dumbest thing BB has ever done.

gotta hand it to the Jets they played a good game and great defense. The Pats did hold their own though not like the got spanked bad. But if you ask me, you can win all the games in the world. But when a team is such low class as the Jets it doesn't matter they will never, ever have my respect. I hope they get their asses kicked by Pittsburgh and Rex Ryan has a stroke

@ Ruby
typical New England fan

Rex talked the talk simply to get in his teams head and it worked. All of his talk combined doesn't come close to what 1/4 of the NE fans talk.
And still, you just can't be the bigger person and congratulate the better team.

That game was my Superbowl. We can lose to Pittsburgh and this season will still go down in my mind as the best Jets run in the 31 years I've been a fan.

Thanks to Rex, Mark and especially Tom for making my season.

JR (Jeremy Roenick for those unaware of what hockey is) was on Toronto radio this morning telling a story about what a giant douche Cutler is. Good times.

Not too many details unfortunately. Back when JR played for the Sharks they were in a lounge in Colorado after a Game and one of JR teammates got into a conversation with a women. That apparently she started. Cutler walked over and said that was his lady. After he was surrounded by Sharks and made to look like his ass, he left. He wouldn't get into details but said Cutler acted like an idiot and whimpered away.

I'm thinking, lucky for the Sharks the rest of the Broncos weren't around.

JR isn't really a great spokeman for not being a douche. Remember the 98 Nagano Olympics?

We'll see...I've been pleasantly surprised by the Bears winning the division. So, anything else they do is a bonus.

Still, they have played the Packers well...If Cutler is given the protection he got against the Seahawks, hey...there just may be some success.

That's fine and understandable that this would be your "Super Bowl" I'd probably hate the Patriots too. Always coming up short in the division year after year. This is the best Jets team I've ever seen for sure. But its not just Rex Ryan. Its the whole TEAM. (except Sanchez) Cromartie, Edwards, LT's comments before and after the game. and all those guys doing the stupid airplane thing long after the game was over. Rex Ryan running to the end zone after that TD etc... No class whatsoever. That's all I wanted to say.

I'm not sure any Patriots fan can complain about a lack of class.

2007 against the Chargers comes immediately to mind. Spygate. And now the Pats were caught on tape tripping.

I have to interrupt this playoff discussion. The Dolphins hired Brian Daboll as their OC. He was the OC for Cleveland last year who scored fewer points than Miami did. Another great organizational move

You may continue your discussion of properly run franchises.

I don't hate the pats. I do think that bellichick will do anything to win...even repeatedly spying. That's where the class ends with him in my book. Brady is only following orders ( on and off the field) so you can't fault him. I will say that NE fans talk more than any group I've seen, whether it's football or baseball, winning or losing. I don't get the hate thing in sports, and can't understand how you can hate another team simply because they're your competition.

If the players feel that way and not just the fans, looks like we're headed for a Packers-Steelers superbowl.
