Bosh monster game. James a quiet 31 and 12. Others contributed. Battier with some 3s and Chalmers with some nice lay ups.

If this is the end of the big 3 in boston, then we can now say that they completely underachieved in their era. Not only winning ONLY one, but letting a laker team get 2 their watch.

Now excuse me while I go replay all the Title celebrations with LeBron, LeWhine, and LeMinime.
Gotta relive the glory.

Just out of curiosity, who do you guys think is better.......
Shane Battier or Bruce Bowen..... overall, both defense and offense taken into consideration?
After watching the eastern conference finals, I never really knew that Battier could shoot 3's that well. Obviously a lot of people will point out Bowen's "dirtiness" but it was always legal for the most part. IMO Battier > Bowen defensively but Bowen > Battier offensively. But they don't separate that much in both off/def to me. Now after the last 2 Heat series, I would personally say Battier is better than Bowen overall. What do you guys think?

I love both players, I remember back when Bowen was with the heat before he went to the spurs. Great defender. Stone cold shooter. Same like battier. I couldn't make a decision. Battier can pretty much defend any position on the court(other than center). Bowen is a better shooter than battier is IMO,

I don't know. They had a better last 5 years than they're previous 20. In their second year they lost to Orlando without KG in game 7 of ECF. Year 3 Game 7 loss to LA and LA had homecourt. Then 4 and 5 was the younger Big 3. I think if they were younger than maybe they'd win another title. I think they did what they were supposed to do.

^^I can agree on some points, but in the grand scheme of things, the Celtics count getting championships as success. The standards are a little higher when it comes to a historical rivalry. We're talking about a franchise with 17 championships.

My fellow HEAT fans... I believe... But we may be in trouble vs OKC since OKC can live off the outside shot and patiently wait for the cuts and curls to open later. HEAT is the opposite of that. We need the aggressive drive to the interior to allow the outsides to open up for chance shots. But HEAT can not depend on the outside alone as they were left to in the C's game we lost in Miami.
NOTE: I am simply going by fan observation, not statistical facts or ESPN commentary band wagon riding. Just seems that way to me for the games they lose. OKC is way more dominate and better matched in speed then Boston could ever been this yr... This series need to have NO BS! NO MISTAKES! and that Demon like focus every single freaking game! ...But the truth is OKC scares me

I am so glad you said that because Battier SUCKS! shooting IMO for the purpose he was brought in to the HEAT team. Last night was his very 1st good game of this entire series. As a supposed "DAGGER" outside perimeter shooter, he is OFF way more then on...same goes for Miller.

As for okc. I agree pounding it in the paint is key while causing iblocka to get in foul trouble. If we can disrupt their shooting game causing to miss then we have a good chance of winning like we did in the regular season at hone. Bosh would be key because his spacing of the floor to split the d is crucial causing iblocka to defend him outside of the paint. Regardless its going to be another rollercoaster series.

I'm going to take a step away from the normal sarcasm/snark and say that the LeHeat SHOULD win the Finals in 6.
Their experience from the failure last year should be an asset. The only potential issue is LeBron literally falling on his face from exhaustion since he's played essentially non-stop since the beginning of the playoffs and add to that this has been a super-compressed season.
Still, if he's able to go for another few games, Miami should have their title and LeBron's first.

^^I thought it was bad too, but another angle showed that they barely touched. Typical Celtic overacting....

But, you do know that defaulting all to the LeHeat is usually the safest pick.

I'm Down Right Fierce!
Yeah, but you expect that type of behavior from KG/Rondo. They hate losing and are often sore about it.
Ray Ray though, he's a class act. Definitely one of my favorite shooters of all time. Besides he's the one and only Jesus Shuttlesworth!

Good one.
Been a fan since he came to Sonics... I am happy for him that he at least won a championship back in 08.

I say we should've kept Eddie house than mike miller. Apparently on espn rachel Nichols says that he told the team this is his last 2 weeks of basketball. He's getting injection shots before the game and at halftime.
