It's all his fault.

Loved watching a guy that can dribble, pass, shoot. Not much skill in the NBA these days, just shooters and athletes now.
I won't go so far as saying that he's Magic or Steve Nash, but its pretty rare to see a guy that can pass to where the guy is going to be...at NBA speed, in his 3rd start. Crazy.

His playing style reminds me of Steve Nash

^^helps that he's playing for D'Antoni.
Anyone else find it ironic that he's chinese, playing in MSG? Usually its MSG in my Chinese that I complain about.

You're reading into my post. I responded to exactly what you said, which is a ridiculous statement.

ANYWAY, I'm happy with this blessing on my Knicks. However, I'm just wondering how well Amare and Melo will integrate themselves into this 'system' when they return.

I think Lin and Amare have the potential to be a good combo. We all know that Amara lived off the pick and roll. Not sure yet how Melo fits into LINSANITY. Melo having a legit PG who can also drive (and kick out) should definitely help him.

Its simple guys...Amare, Tyson, Jeremy can work off each other, as well as the other guys. However, when they absolutely need a bucket, go to Anthony. He can 'close' as they say in today's parlance.
He can post and draw players in, opening things up. Its like 2 separate systems, kinda how Shaq would post, but if all else fails, go to Kobe to find a shot. Same with Magic and Kareem, who also has very different styles they play.
It CAN work that way. Will it, I don't know. But I'll say this, J-Lin is a huge blessing for the Knicks, cuz they were of the suck earlier this year.

I got to give it to Lin he's making the most of his opportunity he had a great game last night. I knew going in the Lakers wouldn't be able to control him they don't handle point guards well but I didn't know he would have that good of a night.
I would refrain from making comparisons to any Hall of Fame players because I have seen several times players have one good season (this is just one week) and then revert back to their old selves especially when their playing for a contract.

Lin pulled out a win: did well in the first half, but was a statistical nightmare in the second half.
Go figure, kid must be tired. A W is still a W though!!! <3

He likely felt the affects of back-to-back games with travel. I was concerned there'd be a letdown after yesterday's solid win. This group really has a lot of heart.

I streamed this game and really surprised Knicks pulled this one off. I don't blame Lin for the bad performance, just looked completely drained in the second half of that game.

^ True, but the fan in me is letting it slide. Lin played 39 minutes last night (most of any player on both teams other than K Love), and probably was drained from playing against a tough Laker team the night before, where he blew up for 38.
And after re-watching some of the footage from the Wolves/Knicks game, I have to give the Wolves alot of credit. In the second half they adjusted (after getting torched by Lin on a few drives in the first half) and started to collapse on Lin whenever he drove into the paint.
The scary thing is, once Stat and Melo are back, do you tell those defenders to collapse and leave Stat and Melo open? I seem to be in the minority camp that thinks that Melo will be better with Lin - Lin forces defenses to focus on him and should give Melo some space to breathe and hopefully take better shots.
Either way, exciting times are ahead for the Knicks fans for sure.
Heat game is on. Gonna have to check in later to see Yummy's post game comments on LeBron.

I agree the defense started collapsing more on Lin. But look at the shots he missed. Tons of shots that were just SHORT. And if you play ball, you know that's simply a sign of fatigue. Lin went from zero minutes to heavy minutes over a 5 day stretch. I'm sure the conditioning will come later.
