I shoot people
I just want the best East team to take care of Dallas... and I don't think the Bulls would've been able to. I think the Heat will be a better match up with the Mavs

I do give big ups to Chicago. They were a very formable opponent. I think it was a combination of coach tibs's inexperience and youth of the bulls is what killed them. The bulls shouldn't be ashamed what they did this season.

I was taking about the entire team as a whole - take the whole team of the Bulls and they are very young and have little playoff experience compared to Bron/James.
And I wouldn't call Lebron (26) and Wade (29) exactly all that young; their physical prime is now and will probably last for another 4 years, whereas Rose/Joakim/Deng/Brewer/Asik/Gibson have alot of years left in their physical prime.

Hey Yum! Get used to me for the next year.
I agree that Chicago blowing away expectations was truly an achievement and they definitely shouldn't be ashamed. I think it's more that their late game offense is too reliant on Rose. And since everyone in the stadium knows it will be him, they simply keyed their best defender on him and he airballs or gets swatted. They need help and can't turn into Cleveland where they are a great defensive team but have only one true creator for late game situations. Rose's FG% in the series and especially in the 4th quarter/OT (TNT really pressed this) was atrocious. I saw that 10 guys were under contract so they might have to trade if that needed player isn't on the team. Since we're quick to trade here, why not trade Boozer? Then again his value is probably lower than what it was last offseason. Wouldn't Gibson be fine starting at PF?
I think BD is right. I believe we had one of the oldest teams thanks to guys like Z and Magloire jacking up our average age. And our key guys are older than most of Chicago's key guys considering Rose and Noah are babies in this league. Boozer I believe is a year older than Bosh who's younger than Wade.
Great series. Obviously happy to have beaten all 3 teams in 5 games to get to the finals. That's right Yum, your team is as bad as the Sixers. LeBron's late game heroics on both ends of the court are truly remarkable. Bosh killed them, he averaged 23 points a game at a 59 FG%. I hope Wade recovers from whatever is ailing him because with the offensive firepower that Dallas has we need our points. It will be interesting to see an offensive force take on a defensive force. Something's gotta give.

The bulls-mavs series wasn't a epic as had hoped, but I like this match up better.
In a weird way, this reminds me of Magic vs Bird with Lebron vs Dirk.

Nothing to about, dom.
I called the LeHeat to sweep. But, they didn't. I called them to blow out the Bulls by 80000 points. But, they didn't.
I called LeBron, LeWade, and LeMiniMe to co-win the MVP. But, they didn't. I called the LeHeat to go undefeated. But, they didn't.
The LeHeat am the suck. They only beat Chicago by 3.

And honestly, the loss does not sting. Chicago has a sh*tty player in D-Rose who will learn from this and only be sh*ttier.
I expect Chicago to lose all their games next year and not make the playoffs.

Now, in all seriousness, Rose needs help...just like Jordan did before he got past Detroit, Rose needs help to get past Miami.
As great as he is, going against 5 players on his own with very little support (Boozer, your plane is departing Chicago, thanks) is not going to work. And Miami is not going anywhere...
Besides, waiting out the LeHeat to win the next 25 Titles is a long time. So, Chicago needs to make some trades and/or key signings...and maybe the Knicks will take Boozer since well, they don't play D anyhow.

Rose is a great player, I still don't have him ranked above Lebron or Wade, he hasn't shown that fire to win. Noah is a good rebounder, but he isn't an offensive threat, I dont care how young the bulls players are, they won't ever be as good as lebron/wade/bosh, except for Rose, but Rose can't do it himself.....Miami was just a more talented team is the bottom line.

Bosh could have been swapped for Brian Scalabrine and still have scored a few points.
Look, I know he's on your team now...but, given where I live now where there is only ONE basketball team, the Bosh I know and watched regularly on the tube and got all the press...?
Yeah, he's so good...ask why the Toronto fans were always so excited that the Raps were "contenders" when Bosh was on that team...?

^ Whew. It's okay, man. There's always next year. You're really taking this hard...
I agree with CL on this one, although I don't think it would even take someone as good as Paul or Williams on OKC to really improve them. Westbrook is definitely not a point guard... THAT is obvious. He can get by at the position because he's an unbelievable athlete and a great ball player, but he's not good enough with his decision making at this point. But his athleticism would make him an UNBELIEVABLE 2 guard. I don't think there's anyone in the league, including Yumcha's beloved MVP , that is on Westbrook's level as an athlete. He's unreal. Put him at 2 guard with Durant as the 3/4, an imerging Harden and Ibaka at the 3/4 and 5, with a decent PG and they would be a scary force.
Durant actually disappointed me more than Westbrook in the playoffs. Not only was his performance somewhat disappointing but so was his attitude. Don't get me wrong, he's phenomenal and is something the league hasn't seen in maybe EVER.... but he needs to make some changes before he's "there" in my opinion.
I'm anxious to see what OKC does in the off season, but I think trading Westbrook would be the worst thing they could do.
Thoughts on trading Westbrook for either Chris Paul or Williams? Thoughts? Personally, I don't think Westbrook is a good fit on OKC. I don't think he'll ever develop into a true PG and his heart and instinct is always to attack first. Not very easy to change. Chris Paul with Durrant would be a killer combo IMO.

That was a good comeback by the Heat and that was a hard fought series. Lebron and D-Wade know all to well what Derrick Rose is going thru because they both have had similar experiences being the only star on their team and having the other team keying on them. As long as the Bulls learn from their mistakes, get a couple more key players this could turn into a long time rivalry in the East but only time will tell.

Wow. Who better to know than Jordan's teammate.

Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen went on theESPN Radio's Mike & Mike show on Friday morning and said that he believes LeBron James might surpass Michael Jordan as the best player ever.
"Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play in the game, but I may go as far to say LeBron James is probably the greatest player to ever play the game," Pippen said. "Not only can he score at will, but he keeps everybody involved."
Pippen, who said in March that his former teammate could score 100 points in a game today, went on to say that "everybody is a threat to score" when James is in the game.
"LeBron James will dominate the game on the offensive end and he’s able to do it on the defensive end as well," he said. "He can get in those passing lanes and dominate the game."
James dominated down the stretch of Game 5 on Thursday night, leading the Heat in a game-ending 18-3 run to close out the series.
The Heat will take on the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.

I like Derrick Rose, but in all honesty the MVP award has always been somewhat subjective.
If MVP = best player in the league, then LeBron would've won it for the past 3 years. Even Scottie Pippen admitted to it this morning on Mike and Mike - I heard it this morning on my drive up to my court appearance.
And I agree with you Yummy: Chi needs to pick up another offensive threat - preferably at the 2 guard position, with someone that can handle the ball and create his own shots.
I've always liked Bron (not from Cleveland so I don't hate him for "le Decision") so I'll be rooting for the Heat. I call Heat in 6.

Nope...not mad.
Actually, disappointed that the Bulls are now out but them having the season they did was a VERY pleasant surprise. And Rose winning the MVP was even better.
Anyhow, LeHeat also to win the Superbowl, World Series and the Stanley Cup.
