Thank you Shaq! His press conference was actually gracious and unpretentious. Good for him....one of the best players ever.

Did you see Lebrons reaction when Tyson Chandler "walked" by Wade on a break away?

Hate to see him go, but it was definitely time. Would have liked to see him get one more ring, but still an amazing career and next stop is the Hall of Fame.

That last possession by Dirk made me nervous, good win by the Heat. Wade is ready to carry the team the rest of the way imo, 0 turnovers, 29 pts and 11 boards, very solid game by Wade.

Man if we don't blow game 2 we are thinking sweep. I can only ask for a win on Tuesday to win back home court. Nice shot Bosh

I dunno...I feel like this can go 6 or 7.

Seems like the Mavs had nerves, the Heat had hunger. To me, the Mavs were happy and relieved with game 2, and that seemed to take away their edge. They were spent emotionally. The Heat believed that game 2 was an anomaly, and were out to prove that today.

Enough from me being an armchair sports psychologist....still a fun game to watch.

yea today's game could've easily gone either way, technically if it wasn't for that mario chalmers' buzzer beater at the end of the 1st, the score would've been different. A lot of basketball was played after that, but still those 3 points could've made a big difference in the final outcome.

I keep expecting Lebron or Wade to look tired, with wade averaging like 40 minutes a game, and Lebron playing like 45 minutes a game, but they still look like they can run forever. Dallas still can play better, with Barea and Peja not contributing a thing this series. Maybe it can be attributed to lockdown defense from the HEAT, but Barea especially seems to be missing a lot of wide open shots/layups.

I am just really hoping for a long series, since I'm really not looking forward to sports this summer (or lack thereof), and really with the NBA (and NFL) looking like a lockout is imminent, who knows when we'll get another game.

It's true. When we went from two conference series' to one series the day gap between games was like ugh. Then when this series ends all you have is baseball. I like baseball but I don't get really excited for it until late August.

The Mav's let a golden opportunity slip thru their hands considering the winner of game 3 has won every series since the NBA has gone to 2-3-2 format. The Heat and the refs gave the Mav's every chance to win game two and they couldn't pull it off even at home.

Mavs need to quit turning the ball over and Terry needs to start making 3's. If that happens, Mavs win.

I think he was saying the ref's were actually biased against the heat, and helped the Mav's, maybe I misinterpreted?

Doesn't matter who they lean to. Just think it's funny. If he thought they gave the Mavs game 2, even Mavs' fans were calling the refs the Big 3 for Game 3 in helping the Mavs.

lol at Warriors hiring Mark Jackson. I can see the huddles now, "hand down, man down!", "mama there goes that man!"

Based solely on his broadcasts, I'm pretty skeptical of the hire, but he was a pretty good player, so hopefully he proves me wrong.

Really liking Wade's entire game. Lebron may be there physically, but Wade always had that mental edge. And no, I'm getting into the leadership/greatness debate. Just calling it like it is for this series alone.

Kinda glad to see that Miami also recognizes this. Wade is your boy...Lebron and Bosh joined him to win, not the other way around. Having been there before and won, he's more natural as a leader, IMO.

That's the beautiful thing about this team. These guys took less money and knew it was Wade's team. They wanted to win and they don't fight about BS. Each recognize who's hot and feed off that. UD is another great leader. Hard worker who came up from a fatboy at UF to playing in France and is a great image under his "thug" look.

Exactly, if we had to choose between Lebron and Wade. We would stick with Wade. He means too much to the city of Miami.

If you base it on broadcasts alone I don't know how Van Gundy ever got a job coaching.

Another great game. Lebron was absolutely turrible tonite. Hes been getting so many traveling calls it looks ridiculous at this stage. Scottie Pippen you spoke too soon.

lol, how many times can dallas make 4th quarter comebacks. I'm glad a got I decently long series to watch, even though I won't be celebrating after either team wins, but I hope it goes 7 games. Miami still looks like the favorite (even if they didn't have home court), but somehow Dallas seems to make it interesting. If you told me Deshawn Stevenson is going to outscore Lebron, I would assume it would be an easy win by Dallas. Yea, Dirk had a kinda off game, going like 3-16 after his first 3 baskets, but they got contributions from a lot of guys. It's going to take Dirk being Dirk, and solid contributions from Chandler, Kidd, Marion, JJ, and JT if they're going to have a chance.

They need to cut that shit out. Continuously trying to make 4th QTR comebacks is going to cost them eventually.

Another day another 4th quarter comeback. These guys are so close they could go either way. Not good for the health. Is there a game bigger than Thursday?

What a great game! Dirk makes another clutch layup. I'm pulling for my Mavs, but it could go either way. Game 5 is huge!!!!

The Heat's normally smothering defense was off last night the Mav's had so many open shots that they just couldn't knock down. Game 5 is huge but given that both teams have won on each others floor then all the remaining games can go either way. I still can't understand why Spo doesn't double team Dirk in the last 5-10 minutes of the game and take the chance on the other players beating them especially since Dirk is averaging over 10 points in the 4th quarter.

Exciting game. Now it's a best of 3 series, winner take all. Dirk looked beat in the 4th quarter, that flu was sucking the life out of him. When Mavs switched up to zone, they had the Heat perplexed. LBJ definitely needs to be more aggressive offensively but it's got to be difficult when Wade is on fire like he was last night. That is until he missed the tying FT in the last minute. Chandler was a beast on the boards, tons of rebounds and the scoring was balanced for Dallas. IIRC 5 players scored in double figures although a lot of it was picking up Dirk's slack when he went on that cold streak in the middle of the game.
