FWIW, the Celtics were up 3-2 on the Lakers last year.

IMO, we're going to 7.

As much as I would like to see the Heat pull off two at home, Dallas is just too good. They have so many weapons and when those guys play like they did in game 4 and game 5 I just can't see Miami winning against them. Especially with Lebron dissapearing in the 4th.

It's funny, watching the press conference last night it seems as if he saw no problem with his 4th quarter. 'We just need to play better defensively". I think he needs to realize that if you are unable to stop the Mavs offense and try to rely solely on defense you are setting yourself up for failure.

Lebron needs to make sure their defense is good but also not back away from being able to come up with big buckets in the 4th.

If Miami takes game 6 then they have a slight chance to win game 7 but as I see it now the Mavs just want it more and I wouldn't be surprised to see this thing wrapped up in 6.

If it does hopefully some changes will be made so that the Big 3 don't have to play well just to have a chance at a W. I still think Spo has got to go. He hasn't convinced anyone that he is an above average coach while Rick Carlisle has proven that he can and will exploit all of Miamis weaknesses.

And I can't wait until this is over just so I don't have to put up with LeYummys extreme sarcasm anymore

Those jumpers go away with a change in venue. They've had 3 games to get it right in Dallas. They'll be off in game 6 in MIA and voila....we have a 7 game series.
I have a LeHeat t-shirt on right now! Sure, my crew's looking at me funny with them in dress shirts and all...BUT, gotta represent.

But, in all seriousness...I believe this will go to 7 and I think we're in for one entertaining ride.

They also thought the Lakers would sweep us. And OKC. And Miami.

We are the underdogs & we know it. Dirk knows this & deserves it. He's been with us since his beginning when he could have pulled a Garnett or LeBron.

I'm glad the Mav's are up and have a chance to close it out but being up 3-2 is no guarantee especially since they are going to Miami their best chance is game 6. I'm not one bit surprised with Lebron's performances or lack of performance but I am surprised that he keeps tweeting stuff like "its now or never" or doing stuff like the video ^^ and he doesn't back it up in my opinion that makes him look even worse.

Why the fuck is that dumbass #6 talking shit? He's done nothing for this team. Hey James, go make another awesome Twitter post.

Wade's looking pretty good after that "injury", too.
Let them mock & celebrate. It already bit them in the ass this series.

This is an awesome series: I find myself pulling for the heat due to all the hate they are getting. But honestly, I could care less who wins.

I think the long break till game 6 will help the Heat; I'm almost certain lebron has logged the most minutes of any player in this years playoff and it's wearing him out.

I see the heat winning game 6. Not sure who will win it all; will hold that call until i see how the heat and mavs perform in game 6.

But just to keep it all real, the Mavs have had horrible collapses and have had 'championship-caliber' squads for awhile now that couldn't get out of the first round. So any doubts isn't the proverbial 'hate'....there is good reason to believe "it ain't over 'til its over" with these guys. This is 1 good year for them....or you now.

So as much as I like the Mavs and have nothing against them, for the past couple of years, they've done nothing to convince that anything is totally secure.

Trust me, I'm as unbiased as they come at this point....the Mavs have to win the next one in Miami, because I have serious doubts that they'll be able to shoot their way out of a game 7 on Miami's home court.

Players of superstar caliber don't get worn out its inexcusable at age 26 especially given the circumstance being the NBA Finals. He isn't worn out physically he is mentally weak.

I played in some competitive bball leagues (former college athlete leagues) when I was 26 and I would get tired towards the end of a game. Very different from street ball, where I can still play 6-8 games in a night before I get tired.

Albeit, I'm no LeBron, but when you play with other "superstar caliber" athletes, who have a deeper bench (and can sit out longer) and you're called to play for 40+ minutes every game, you get tired.

My point was more that given my observation that he seems to be on the floor longer than any other player in the series, Lebron seems like he could use the extra day of rest... but I guess that could also apply to those people who play far less.

I do agree that LeBron is having 4th quarter break downs though.

I would refrain from comparing yourself at any age to a professional player who trains countless hrs, gets paid hundreds of millions of dollars to play basketball and is considered a top three talent in the league.

BraveDemon, I was only joking.

But, seriously, I don't remember getting tired in those former athlete leagues as well when I was ballin at 26. I don't know if I was any good in the leagues around us here in SoCal, but I at least had my stamina and toughness.

I still go too hard for my own good at 35, lol. Anyways,

Lol. My bad. Can't pick up on sarcasm on forums. And I don't take anything personal on forums anyway.

But I do agree with both your and CLpass's views - which is that for someone who is hailed as "The King", he shouldn't be checking out in the 4th quarters of a finals series.

And there are a few competitive leagues here in so cal. I'm currently in a 26-30 league and yeah, it seems like those 26 year olds can run for days... oh the good ole days.

Yea I could not care less who wins. I'm just rooting for the Heat because they defeated the celtics and because the Mavs swept the Lakers...

Also I wish these Finals were more interesting, I like it when one team just utterly dominates the other team

I see where you're coming from, but when the Mavs have horrible collapses & choke, it's usually in "spectacular" fashion. They've come to far to pull that kind of stunt.

But I admit, that is in the back of my mind which is why I usually always have a hidden resentment for the Mavs. They could be doing well, but that doesn't mean anything with them.

I saw Lebron before the game and asked him to break a dollar. He only gave me $.75 in return. I asked him for the rest and he said," I don't have a fourth quarter."

I don't see how that's interesting knowing 1 team is obviously dominating in a 3-0 series.

And why are you mad at the Mavericks if they did just what you said was interesting by sweeping the Lak...oh, that's right.

The collapses are usually spectacular. Even if they don't win this one, they deserve much credit for standing fairly even with the team that supposedly going to rule for the next 4-5 years. They will certainly be looked at as living up to or beyond their potential.

And this is missing Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood...

They had said Haywood wanted to play before Game 5, & I was hoping for it, but apparently, he still actually has his hip injury to deal with unlike that pussy Wade. He moved pretty good for someone who did a lot of over-reacting.

No matter what happens whether the Mavs win or the Heat win Lebron James will have added to his postseason collapse reputation. 8 for 33 on jumpers in the series, 11 point combined total scoring in the 4 quarter, not getting to the free throw line, looking bewildered and disengaged at times, not playing as hard as he can or doing the things we have seen him do when the pressure is not as great.
