Bulls Win!! We played great defense and got good numbers from Rose, Deng, and Boozer. Boozer got many silly fouls in the 4th. Griffin also put up 32 points.

Griffin still had a heck of a game; going point for point with Rose...Both had terrific games.

Nice win. I like this win better than the Lakers win since this Orlando team was retooled to beat us and we're very likely to play a series. Nevertheless, we're not even at the All Star game and Orlando did make several pushes especially at the end. It would be a tough series for sure. Lebron dropping 23 in the 1st is

BTW, interesting interview with Jim Grey on the Dan Le Batard show. Not that I want to rehash old memories but since Super Bowl's radio row produces millions of interviews they asked him about the Decision interview. He did not get paid for the interview. The Decision was idea that he discussed with Maverick Carter (LBJ's manager) and Ari Emanuel (the real Ari Gold) at one of the NBA Finals' game in LA. He didn't know to where Lebron was going until the famous taking my talents line because he wanted to react accordingly. Another trivia, Dr. J walked in his wedding.

This All Star game should be interesting to watch, the East is stacked. The Celtics+Dwight should be fun to watch. Also think about Rondo feeding Lebron or Wade...

Between them, a brawl will break out because they each want to be fed the ball and yeah, MMA NBA edition, here we come.

And apparently all the love in the world for Yogurt, aka Pau Gasoft. He got put on blast by a few respected bloggers yesterday for his shortcomings in the last few seconds of the Spurs game. I feel he definitely doesn't deserve the all-star spot. Should have gone to Aldridge or West.

Personally, I feel Deng should've been put on the roster...But, whatever...

Having a LONE Bull on the team proves that Rose truly is the MVP.

What a snub! But hopefully he gets in.

Yao is injured and Commissioner David Stern will choose a replacement. That gives another chance to Love, who is averaging 21.4 points and a league-best 15.5 rebounds, and shooting 43.9 percent from 3-point range. He has 34 straight double-doubles but was undoubtedly hurt by his Minnesota Timberwolves' 11-37 record.

wow.

It was the ninth time in James' career he's topped 50 points -- each occasion on the road. In all of them, he's shot better than 50 percent. This time it was an impressive 17-of-25 shooting, which may qualify as his best effort ever. His 11 consecutive makes to start the game was the best streak of his career.

Big response to the Magic owner. I guess LBJ took it personally when his competitiveness got questioned by the owner earlier last summer, he's been sniping at that statement for a while now.

Seeing the boys aren't committed to any form of defense, the Knicks better make a play for CA ASAP.

Well I got see in person the Heat spanking the Clippers even with a bad game from Lebron. Griffin had one nasty tip in dunk, a breakaway windmill dunk, and dunked on Big Z . We double teamed him some and he had 21 but shot 7 of 17. I think we did a pretty good job on him. We answered one of his dunks with a beautiful alley oop from Miller to Lebron. Then after getting shoved one play by Griffin, Lebron called a clear out and drove on Griffin and scored a very satisfying layup . There was one play that the refs huddled for a good 10 minutes and Lebron yelled at them to hurry up because he had a Super Bowl party to go to. Very impressed with the other Big 3, Wade and Bosh. Glad I got to see 4 all stars go at it.

^ You mean, 2 and a half stars ganging up on one star.

Not 4 stars going at it. If it were, it would've been amusing. I pick Griffin to come out on top. Definitely MiniMe to finish 4th.

Melo for Bynum trade talks started....however, the Lakers apparently turned down a straight up trade.

Wow...WTF Jim Buss?

http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.c...anthony-talks/

UPDATE 12:28 pm: Jim Buss — the son of owner Jerry Buss and the guy who is the real day-to-day head of the Lakers basketball-side operations — turned down a Carmelo Anthony for Andrew Bynum trade, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News (on twitter). He says that Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant were dismayed.

Drafting Andrew Bynum was something the younger Buss pushed for — a lot of people thought it a reach at the time but, despite all the injuries, it has worked out well. Buss is fiercely loyal to Bynum and it would make sense if he turned down this trade.

Weren't the Lakers having size issues defensively already? I think Buss turned it down so not to lose the talented big man. He's probably thinking that if they meet the Celtics in the Finals, he needs the size.

Absolutely true. And my practical side agrees with this. However, as you know, it must be nice to have a big 3. Ron Ron is unreliable at scoring.

Also consider the fact that Bynum is signed for a while....Melo is an expiring contract. He could bolt for NYK after this year's championship and the Lakers are left with no big man (alongside Pau) or Melo.

If there is anything Bynum still has, its that damn potential...and the fact that Jim Buss is the guy that drafted him.

Bynum has 2 years left. And I think the last year is an option...

WTH Durant, Ray Allen, and Pierce are doing the 3 point shootout. Haven't seen so many all stars in that in a while. The Big 4 must love those wide open shots.
