OMG. That was probably one of the most idiotic shots I've ever seen. 10 seconds left and single coverage.... and not only single coverage, but BIBBY on Lebron. Are you kidding me? Are you really going to take a 30 foot shot with that much time left? Best case scenario, he hits it and the Heat are up by only 1, and leaving Atlanta with 8-9 seconds to win the game.
You pointed out the obvious that I was not going to say to our Heat fan here, Herr NSX.
But, totally agree. Different scenarios and whereas LeBron had a choice, Rose...didn't have a choice. Time versus no time.

^ But, I never had title aspirations for Da Bulls. Just MVP aspirations for Rose.
So, that doesn't hurt my feelings.

NEWARK, N.J. -- New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov has told the team to end discussions on the Carmelo Anthony deal.
In a news conference before Wednesday night's game against Utah, Prokhorov said he decided on Tuesday to stop pursuit of the Nuggets All-Star forward, unhappy with how things played out in public.
The new owner says the deal took too long and became too expensive.
Prokhorov also says he has called off a scheduled meeting with Anthony.
Previously, New Jersey had offered to ship six players and at least two first-round draft picks to Denver in a deal that would have sent Anthony to the Nets along with former Pistons teammates Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton.

mmmmmm....
That was a really tough shot he missed. I didn't like the setup at all. Rose got the ball practically on the baseline, and then had to drive around to the center for a shot, this with around 3 seconds. Regardless, the bulls didn't deserve the win and I am disgusted at the loss. Glad Boozer will be back for the next game. We can work around losing one key player, but losing two key players is too much for the Bulls.

mmmmmm....
I have lot of respect for Rose for what he has done past year or two. He is definitely going to be a superstar within few years. He is rising star, but I can't say that he is already one yet.

mmmmmm....
3-4 sec is plenty of time to find the spot that he wanted to take. Jordan done it plenty of times in his career, but than again... we are compare it to basketball god vs. rising star (bad example?).

I also think Thibs is a great coach. He is never sitting down during a game and always talking to the players.
The game against the Bobcats made me upset as well but with two star players out, games are going to harder. The Bobcats second chance points also killed us, we needed some rebounds bad.

^^Agree. Celtic defense was what beat the Lakers in 08. Guess what coach headed that up? Thibodeuo....thibodeux.....err, Thibs....
IMO, the Bulls need a better perimeter player aside from Rose. What they have is pretty damn good though....good depth.

I'm not sure if I believe these reports about the deal being off I think they are still negotiating but issued this statement saying the deal is off so that buys time from the media constantly reporting on it. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the deal ends up happening somewhere down the line.

Denver's the desperate one here IMO. They don't want a repeat of what happened to Cleveland, their prized star walking away with nothing in return.

I already told you guys...Carmelo is going to Miami. The Heat is going to trade away all of their 1st rounders for the next few years and their entire worthless bench.
They'll only have 4 players on the court and use 3 basketballs...It'll be the Big Three and a Half.

How? With Phil Jackson coaching the Bulls, do you really think they would be better then 29-14? Exactly what has Tibs NOT done this year, or what would Jackson bring to the table? They don't need another coach to win the title, they need to stay healthy, and get another key player or legit SG.

Mebbe the guy's talking about getting the Triangle Offense back to Chicago...?

I'd also like to add that since Tibs became the Coach of the Bulls.....
Opponents field goal percentage: #1
Opponents points: #3 in the NBA
Points Differential: #5 in the NBA
Rebounds: #3 in the NBA (WITH key injuries)
Of course I'm a Phil Jackson guy, but what exactly would Jackson bring to the table that will make them a championship contending team? Coaching is there... what we need is to really stay together and learn to play together. Getting another key player as well would really help us contend.

Yesterday's slugfest win against the Mavs is what Thibodeau brings to Chicago in a nutshell...
What a gritty effort by the undermanned Bulls.
