^^that's sad.

Hate Lebron all you want, he was the best pick of last decade....even if they get a high draft pick, there isn't any game changing player out there like lebron that'll change their fortunes.

Yes and no...you have franchise players available "post" LeBron. What about Rose? Griffin? Durant? Wall?

Heck, Wade wasn't even first overall.

How are they no worse? Miami is built to compete for years. Cleveland won't draw stud free agents thanks to the unappealing city to players and an owner that shot himself in the foot with some players on how he handled Lebron leaving. There's nobody in college OMG-good like Lebron was. I feel bad for that team as they might not be good for a long time. Geez your Miami hate blinds you dude. Go rag on Carmelo who's been hurting the Nuggets by not letting the Nets trade go through. Nobody dumps on that guy. At least Lebron was a free agent and waited until he could leave to say something (although not very popular how said ).

I'm going to see the Blake Griffins on Super Bowl Sunday bottom section. Hopefully he doesn't land on me after a nasty dunk.

You need to temper some of my comments a bit, Doomie. I was hoping the smiley would've been a flag I was not totally serious.

BUT...that being said, I don't agree your team is set to compete forever and ever. Outside of Wade and LeBron, the Heat do have issues and until proven otherwise, don't appear to have the depth to take out the darned Celtics (yes, I dislike 'em...just got bigger fish to fry this season).

And my point was, if the Heat don't win it this year, they are for the season in some ways no better off because well, no title along with the Cavs. That was all I was saying.

Next time I type in caps beyyootch!!!

Competing in the sense of being in the conversation of possibly winning it all. Yeah I think most Heat fans won't object to Boston being superior at the moment. I understand your No Fear t-shirt caption of 2nd place being the first loser, but that's like saying your Bears who just made the NFC championship are in no worse shape than the Dikings that you love so dearly. See what I did there.

According to ESPN, Miami 5th and Cleveland is 2nd. So Heat's attendance is better than I thought either way.

Never miss a chance to throw Rose in there.... (He is awesome though, no doubt).

Forgetting all of the hype and controversy, the overrated-ness and underrated-ness for their draft position, Lebron is the best draft pick for the '00s IMO.

If you put Rose or Durant in Lebron's spot for those years he was there, I'm not sure you have the early Finals appearance/2x MVP/ECF contenders that he made them into.

The guy basically made Cleveland (of all places) into a basketball name...now they've plummeted back into the abyss from which they came.

Not saying I believe he's the best player, but in terms of draft picks he's the best among the 00s.

Granted, I still think he's unlikable and handled the summer all wrong....

Well, hang on. We all know Da Bears were picked to not go to the playoffs...so, whatever they achieved this year was a bonus.

YOUR team on the other hand...well, they have the next 20 titles. So, anything less is a failure. You see what I did there?

I wonder how this year wouldve been if not some lucky ass team(ahem teh bulls) didn't get the #1 pick in front of the worst team in that year(the heat). I have a feeling if the cavs end up the worst record of this year, they aren't getting the #1 pick.

To be honest, bud...I doubt your team would've picked Rose. You already have a PG in LeWade.

I guess we'll just be as bad as the Bulls who are just as bad as the Cavs then if we lose in the Finals.

Really. Hrm...I seem to recall that your team was higher on Beasley than Rose.

But, it's hard to play this what-if game anyhow. Would the Heat have LeBron or Bosh if Rose was drafted?

Pfffft...no.

Cuz, Da Bulls have a no-name second-rate non-MVP player in Rose. No one picked them to do anything...and were supposed to be doormats to the Heat, Celtics, Magic et al...

Except...WTF...the Bulls beat those teams!

So, any playoff success is a bonus. We have no Title aspirations. But, can you imagine the glee I'd have if your team met up with Chicago and the unimaginable happened...?

They were both rated the same. We still had UD to take the PF spot. but were hurting at the PG even more. if it came down to it we wouldve picked Rose.

Well, too bad. Rose took his services to the Windy City where he belongs.

Besides, he's not an MVP-type player...WTF would you guys want a useless athlete like him...?

We didn't have Noah. And Rose is <<<<<< Wade anyhow. So, your team has Flash...a superhero. And still lost. Shame. If your team were , their parents would've beaten them to next week for the disgrace. :shakehead

Noah can't be compared to losing to Lebron. thats like comapring Godiva to Nestle. Also we don't have Udonis. either way we are coming back to Chicago this month. hopefully nobody is using Miss Cleo again on the heat. How i look at it is that your argument is invalid.

Rose took his services there because he had no choice. I see how you like to degrade Rose even though he is having a MVP like season. I wanted rose instead of Beasley.

Pffft...he's from Chicago and wanted to play for his home town.

If he became FA as a Heat, he would've taken his services to the Windy City and not play in some hurricane-infested town.

That maybe true, but imagine if he had the lebrongitis and left for a better team. i mean who wants to be in a place that when its 80 deg but feels 110 with the heat wave, then its 0 degs in the winter. Hurricanes only last for a couple of days. imagine being stuck with no power and not being to get out because of 10in of snow. Don't be mad because people would rather be in FL than in IL for vacation.

I live in that "10 inches" of snow most of the year. And I'm fine.

Yum. No BS. We didn't want Beasley as badly as we wanted Rose. That was the draft that we took Mario Chalmers in the 2nd round and he's still here. We really needed a PG since we had lost the shell of Jason Williams. We were happy with UD as the starting PF and as foreseen having him and Beasley co-exist PF-wise didn't work out. We tried Beasley at SF too to no avail. Riley loves guys like Haslem kind of like Charles Oakley.

Hey asianspec, don't pay Yummy's posts to mind. It's all in good fun although he takes the jokes and kills them. He probably still says Whoomp there it is and when he shakes your hand he says Psych! and brushes back his hair.
