Not that it's not a concern but I heard some stat of eventual champions performing badly in those types of games. Even the 06 Heat champs sucked against and the elites and got killed by the Mavs. Doesn't mean they'll automatically win either.
Not surprised? Nobody has shot that poorly since 1991. Fine you can think he's overrated but judging a guy by this obvious fluke of a game is a poor basis. On the flipside it's like thinking a scrub is great because he shot in one game 17-18 and then say he's underrated when he averaged 5 pts a game in his 5 year career.

Mo and Moon can't play until Baron passes his physical which might take several days.
Anyway you should have a bad feeling because the Lakers have their games faces on now and are ready to finish the season strong.

The thing with SoCal is that most of us will be Lakers fans, but none of us ever feel bad about going to a clipper game. But ya, even if the Kings were 'rivals' earlier in the decade, I still think they should stay in Sacto...I know too many Sacto fans and NorCal friends that would be disappointed.
Its good for me though, I'm about 15 minutes from the Honda Center. I'd welcome the Kings, but wonder if they'll change their name...Los Angeles Kings of Anaheim may be confusing...

Yeah, I feel like the So Cal teams already have their loyal fans.
Who knows what will happen, but at this point all of us here are just trying to show as much support as possible to show maloofs we dnt want this to happen.

As a clipper fan you should have a bad feeling most nights regardless who they play. Don't get me wrong I love the Blake highlights but in the long run if your going to lose most of your games that gets kinda old.
Mo and Moon can't play until Baron passes his physical which might take several days.

. It's kinda sad to see baron go, but I guess in the long term, it really shows that the franchise is in the hands of Griffin and Gordon.Even if mo and moon can play, it's going to be a tough game. At least it'll be the first time they get to wear their white uniforms in like almost a month... Let's just say I can't wait to get the clips leading scorer back, hopefully in the next few games.

they are hoping baron will pass tomorrow and mo and moon will be available for the celts game, but i'm skeptical. I'm even concerned that Baron will fail his physical and they'll reneg on the trade entirely . Baron is a good guy but he just never played as well with the Clippers than he did with the Hornets or Warriors.

^ That was a ridiculous shot. He lives up to his nickname for sure. LeBron had a good look at the end so I'm okay with the shot. He usually makes the right decision with whether to pass or shoot. It was a good game. Surprised to see the Knicks (and Melo!!) play a little defense.

IMO, all the hoopla about getting Melo has downplayed the acquisition of Billups. Knicks will probably end up getting Williams or Paul next year. Billups will obviously be dumped, but he still has 2-3 more solid years. He's one of the smartest PG's in the league and this was a huge upgrade from Felton IMO.

Personally, I don't think the Knicks style of play is going to be sustainable in the playoffs. This is why D'Antoni has never won a championship IMO.

But I think having Chauncey Billups provides intangibles and lots of steadiness at the 1. It'll look alot different than the Steve Nash SSOL offense.
