Some speculation and rumors that it was LeMiller and LeBron who sobbed...

If they are crying about losing in the regular season...oof, I hate to see what happens if they lose a playoff series.

I don't believe the Heat are in trouble. Sure, they have some troubles, but come Thursday, I'm absolutely certain they'll be ready to play.

Of course, if I'm wrong and there's an epic collapse, all the better (Go Lakers!). But a 5 game losing streak is far too long for a team like that to go without taking it personally. They'll play really hard and hungry on thursday.

Win or lose Thursday against the Lakers the Heat are in trouble they have lost 4 of 5 @ home and not only are they second guessing themselves (not Lebron and Wade everyone else on the team) all the other teams in the league now no there's no reason to worry about facing them. There has been to much negative energy around this team all season they have had pretty good season but I don't see them winning the East let alone getting to the Finals.

Understood, definitely about the negative energy....but when any champs come to town, you know how everyone gets. They said it themselves, the Heat think this is a great opportunity.

You know how some teams use the Lakers or the Celtics as a measuring stick? I think the view this as an opportunity to redeem themselves and start on a path to recovery. The Lakers haven't lost since the All-stars, they are the 2x champs, they have the momentum. How better for the to shift the spotlight away than to win against the hottest team in the NBA after losing 4 of 5?

Of course, the flipside of that is, our Lakers have probably held that Christmas game in the back of their minds this whole time, just like they have with the loss to the Spurs etc. The Lakers are a confident bunch, but they do carry grudges.

Overall, its gonna be a good game...there will be incentive on both sides to go hard.

LeBron's hit game winners before so I don't get the polls and controversy. He's made big plays late in games but as usual those don't count. And I read a stat somewhere that Wade, LeBron, and Kobe shoot gamewinners at around the same 20 something percentage. Even Wade's free throw shooting is down this season. Plus if you go to 82games Clutch Stat James is the second highest "clutch" player in scoring. But it's probably a typo right . And yeah the Lakers are gonna smolder us. We got blown out by the Spurs who got blown out by the Lakers so we'll lose by 60 right to the LeKobes. Yes the Le jokes were played out by Thanksgiving.

Sorry to the Miami fans...I know it's not pleasant or fun anymore...but, that being said, give us others a chance at this because if your team ever does figure it out, there's alot of I-told-you-sos and etc.

It'll go both ways.

And in my case, I could not be happier with the season so far because the Bulls have been seriously, the surprise of the year for me. I knew they would be decent...just didn't think they would be ELITE-decent.

Speaking of Phil Jackson. He loves to needle....

"People cry in locker rooms, yes, but I don't want to talk about the Miami situation," Jackson said before the Lakers played the Atlanta Hawks. "This is the NBA, no boys allowed. If you're going to do it, do it in the toilet."
Funny how he says 'I don't want to talk about' it, and then goes on to comment.

Even Phil can't help but take a swipe at the LeHeat.

I honestly think they have overtaken the Yankees as the most-hated sports team in North America...

Based on what I've seen of Miami...? Your team will get to play an extra 4 games once the regular season ends.

But, hey...that's based on what I see RIGHT NOW. Who knows if they can figure it out. Now, LeMiniMe is whining he wants the ball more and in the post...which is, sorry...hilarious because he mentioned in the off-season he didn't want to be inside.

Seriously. I haven't even heard Kobe called 'Beef' for awhile in here. The spotlight is on them.

Its a bit too much, but its kinda fun. Its like a basketball version of Charlie Sheen, only with less drugs and less hookers.

I love the pics Forgot to mention. I don't mind the jokes and criticism. It's better than nobody caring. But in all seriousness per rules of humor the Le jokes are lame already. I'm sure you do it thinking it needles but really it doesn't. It's just painfully unfunny. Obviously just my opinion since some might find it funny still. Even if it LeBron had gone to Chicago I'd think saying LeBulls and LeRose was not funny. Now I do like the term crygate.

I will always refer to him as Beef or Tenderloin. Don't worry. But, right now, there is indeed bigger headlines to worry about.

And Dommie...it has nothing to do with needling you guys. I give you my word nothing I do here is ever personal...all of the barbs I have for the team is always for my amusement. I stick to what I like and because of that, I will happily take the incoming tomatoes as well...

So, don't take it personally. Seriously...don't be LeMad.

I think what cracks me up the most are the proclamations that the Heat have to win by 50 points to eek out any ounce of credit...and then the Bulls can win by 1 and they become the Eastern conference champions.

Chicago and Miami have provided the most entertainment in here, for sure.

In sports there's that good ol saying "What have you done for me lately". Yes Lebron and Wade have hit game winners in the past that is when they didn't play together in seasons past. The Big Three (cough cough) pressed reset when they all agreed to play together so you have accomplishments BD (before decision) and AD (after decision) and like I said earlier this is still a good season by most team standards.

After all these late game collapses I keep thinking back to the 2008 Olympics when Spain was making a run to close the game Wade had 27 points that game Lebron was there to but neither could close it and if it wasn't for Kobe the U.S. would have had a Silver Medal. I wonder if Lebron and D-Wade still have that in the back of their minds also?

Well that site defines their clutch stats as : 4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points, which is different from game winning shot situations Wade and Lebron are clutch up until the game winning shot James 1-7 Wade 0-5 Bosh 0-1.

Dude...with the Big 2 and a Third, it is EXPECTED. All games should be slaughters...

Pros versus Joes. Literally. So, yes...I expect your Lakers to be beaten by at least 30 points...20 less than my expectations against the Bulls. Because, at least your team has a superstar in Sirlion. Chicago? It has scrub players...and an overrated PG.

Exactly...how can it be sports if we can't have a bit of fun at each others expense?

Maybe LeBron should've taken his services to Chicago instead of South Beach.

Cuz, I think Miam's record is about to be as good as last year...which consisted of just Wade and a semi-serviceable Jermaine O'Neal...

Considering everything that's been said before the All-star break, we here in LA have aged Beef now, a crazy man, a twinkie for a power forward, and the most overrated 10th draft pick ever. Grandpa Fisher should be tending to his garden now, telling his grandkids stories that start with 'Back in my day, you know the 2000s...'

There's no way the Lakers will beat the Heat. I predict that they will not only win by 40, both Lebron AND Wade will both hit game winners. Yes, that's a 40 point win, that involves last second game winners by 2 stars.

Hows that even possible? These are the Heat, how's that not impossible?

Anything less is complete failure.
