Bulls win over Orlando.

Luol Deng played great with 26 points. Rose had 22 with stomach ulcers. Dwight Howard also played great with 40 points.

Lakers are telecasting their Lakers Courtside View tonight on Fox Sports West. This format gives the feeling that you're actually at the game. Courtside camera views, no commercials and no commentating, its pretty sweet so far. Are any other teams in the league doing this?

Edit: They just showed one commercial right now, after one and a half quarters, nice!

Very impressive indeed...

Are the Bulls the Blackhawks of 2008-2009...?

So, they aren't the Championship winning team yet but are making alot of noise and what they learn this year in the playoffs will springboard them to bigger things next year (i.e. 2011-2012)...?

No wait...can't be possible. The Heat are repeating.

Blake is great but they have zero chance of the playoffs this season they are 5 spots out of the last playoff position and they would have to win at least 75% of their remaining games just for a shot at getting in.

Yea. Nonetheless, Courtside View was pretty sweet to watch. Did anybody see that horrible shot that Luke Walton took from three point land that came up about 5 feet short of the basket? I watched it like five times and couldn't stop laughing.

Worthy candidate, indeed. Clippers are finally making some positive press...in like, forever.

About time they had someone good on the team.

Shit, I don't know which Big 3 you're talking about. Obviously not Boston's.

Well, looks like they brought out retro jerseys today.

"There are a lot of fake tough guys in this league and he’s one of them." - Kevin Durant, on Chris Bosh

Boy, when a silent guy like KD speak out against you like that, you know you fucked up.

Refs are really dickriding Derek Fisher right now.

did you remember a couple years ago when they brought out the REAL throwbacks with the short-shorts? It lasted half the game, they went in the locker room at half time and came back out with regular length shorts

Pau and Bynum are playing like **it but Bynum has the excuse of coming off of an injury Pau has none. The Celtics are an elite team but Pau cannot use that as an excuse because he has been used by so many lesser players this season like Darko, Demarcus Cousins, Mark Gasol and the list goes on and on.

As a Lakers' fan of course I want them to "3peat" this year, but if I was a gambling man, my money would NOT be on the Lakers.

Agreed. I want them to get their 3peat as well, but they just haven't shown me they have the fire.

Your average run-of-the-mill Laker fan will give you two main excuses:

1) "Look how many rings we got."
2) "Regular season games don't mean shit."

^^ seems to be the company line.
Phil Jackson on the Lakers loss to the Celtics: "Is it the playoffs yet? No. Okay. It's not the playoffs yet. We're still playing regular-season games. We'll get there in time." (via ESPN)
However, when you hear Phil saying that, it causes me more concern. He's not a happy man when he has to be honest, lol.

And regarding the typical 'excuses', as a Laker fan, I've probably heard that said more about Celtics fans. That kind of thinking goes with experiencing success and the way the NBA season and post-season is setup, IMO.

The lakers will be fine. Lots of overreacting concerning them IMO. My money would still be on them to take title #3. They're "struggling" right now but they'll pick it up.

As bad as things are in Toronto, 12 loses in a row. Things look even worse in Cleveland. I genuinely feel bad for that franchise.

Going from what? 60 some odd wins to probably 15 in one year. After the owner claims the Cavs will win a Championship before LeBron, venom and hate from both sides, etc.... It just couldn't be any worse for that team right now.

Things aren't looking much better in Toronto mind you...But at least no one seems to care at this point.

One bright spot seems to be the fact that the Cav's home attendance will always be higher than Miami's.

Well, Cleveland has just got to hope that the Heat implode in the playoffs...and if they do, they are no worse than the Heat and also get a nice high pick.

yes, they're like second in attendance this season. What's funny, is all the Cleveland fans are still convinced that they don't need the 30 pts a game from lebron, yet they've lost the last what 29 out of 30?
