That's a picture of 2 life long Hawks fans, who have been life-long partners, who decided to tie-the knot in front of Lord Stanley's Cup.
2 gays, one cup!

I always said this and ONLY this: Chicago's model does not need a great goalie. Average is fine. Chicago's model is not built from the goaltender and out.
If this is too something you insist on skewing continuously, have fun!
Unless we're suddenly going to consider Niemi and Crawford "top-notch" goalies.
I'm betting on Crawford being let go in a couple of years if his asking $$$ is too high and another "average" goalie is brought in.

^^ Not buying it for that would mean that the Sucks are still Cup champions, and we'd all like to wash the stain of the Anaheim Sucks being Cup winners from our memories.

Notices went out for Kings V Sucks at Doyers Stadium early ticket purchases.
If these things are north of a couple hundred bucks, I'm gonna watch from home.
It would be a cool thing to be there in person, but the site lines are going to SUCK!!!!

I smell smoke coming from your brain. I never called Z defending champion, I referred to Z and Hossa collectively as "stanley cup champions" not defending champions and no mention of what year they won championship.

Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux had successful surgery this afternoon on his right index finger performed by Dr. Katherine Boyd at the Ottawa Civic Hospital in Ottawa, Canada. Giroux was golfing today when his golf club shattered and splintered into his index finger. Although there were no broken bones, there was some damage to his extensor tendons in his finger. He is expected to have a full recovery in 5-6 weeks.
Here's the kicker: $139 ea. for top deck & outfield stands.......might as well watch from the moon
Needless to say I will watch from home.
(Unless some of my peeps come through with free seats)

Question: Is hockey big enough in Cali that peeps would fork over $139 for seats in the nosebleeds...?
On the hockey side of things, it will sell-out just as well. Kings games are sold out all the time. Doyers Stadium seats about 55k peeps. Staples Center seats 18k. Essentially 3 games worth of people. A no brainer.
.....and when you mix in the additional 10-15 Anaheim sucks fans.....well, then you are 10-15 people over the 55k mark.
So in closing, there are 55,015 trying to get 55,000 seats.
.....I wonder if like Doyers games, the peeps will still show up late and leave early.
Does the 4th inning translate to the end of the 1st period, and the 7th inning stretch translates to the first 5 minutes of the 3rd period? If so, the Doyers fans will come and go at those times.
You can bet your Puig on it!
