Congrats Pens fans.

It was a painful game to watch. The Rangers were skating like the ice was pudding and they made too many mistakes.

Great game was played by the Pens. Hopefully The Rangers will return to the way they were playing in the first half soon.

The Rangers did everything but use a bazooka (and score) he was seriously amazing.

Hank looked a bit under the weather still. The first goal he allowed was a bit soft but you have to give Colorado their due, they played a strong game.

Yeah I wasn't feeling the Varlamov trade originally earlier in the season but it seems like the team is finally starting to mesh better and he is beginning to look like he did in Washington and I am loving it. He was a wall yesterday.

Shouldn't hockey season be over by now... it's Spring the ice is melting... damn this season is worse than the NBA. It needs a lock-out to bring things together.

Crikey, nothing is sacred anymore when NuttyPro invades Hockey Talk.

For years I had to watch Tie Domi come into Boston and play like he was a Wayne Gretzky Marty McSorely hybrid, you owe us.

Yeah, that was a sick goal.

The game was a bit of a track meet though! Really enjoyed Stalberg's and Kane's goals too...but, Ovie's takes the cake.

The bigger disgrace was in MSG. You stay classy NHL.

Although DeBore deserves more fault for starting his goons.

What were the Rangers supposed to do? Let their goons push them around?

Like I said, it was Jerseys fault and Torts did what he had to. But if the NHL is ok with what happened its no wonder they'll never move into the mainstream in the US. It's bush league stuff that has no business happening in pro sports. And this isn't a rant against fighting. Tonight Komarsarik and Lucic has a meaningful bout that I enjoyed watching. There was nothing meaningful about that debacle in NY.

yes, Joizy chose to go with that line... it's always a very physical game when Rangers play the Devils, and especially the Islanders.

I agree 100%.

I hope there are repercussions for DeBore.

I am also happy they clinched, different than being eliminated on the last day of the season.

Hopefully they can mount a decent last 10 games 7 of 10 maybe????

with everything you said, the goon squad mentality has got to go, the Islanders pulled the same shit on the Pens last year. And that Koma Lucic fight was very entertaining.

All hell is breaking loose here in Leaf land. Cries for Burke's head have begun (bout fawkin time) The cherry on top was that last night, the mailings to season ticket holders went out along with a video from Burke and Caryle exulting what a great team they have and why you should re-up your season tickets.

If this market had a brain they wouldn't sell another ticket until heads rolled.

Disgraceful....
