Me thinks your team is running the risk of peaking to early.

Let's see how you play when 1/4th of your roster is called up like the Wings are now. Tis good to get a good test of adversity before making a long cup run.

We are missing many major components and are still winning.

Callahan, Del Zotto, Girardi and Fedotenko for example have been out for many games and they are still winning.

I think they are doing very well with adversity right now

Perhaps in 2035 the LA Flyers will meet the Toronto Maple Ducks in the Stanley Cup Finals....

The Leafs are the Chicago Cubs of the NHL. No finals or success for more than a century is upcoming.

so true

Then again though for being a backup with a pretty good amount of playoff experience it may not be a bad move.

Scary times in Beantown. Anton Khudobin is our #1 AHL goaltender and he's injured as well. They didn't want to be using a #2 AHL goaltender to back up Thomas and he's gonna need some help down the stretch. The B's play every day or every other day for the rest of the season with one exception. They have 2 days off in a row once but one of those days is a travel day for an east coast to west coast trip. Having games in hand isn't necessarily a good thing.

They need someone to take some of the load off Thomas so he isn't a tired old man come playoffs. Tuukka should be back right at the beginning of the playoffs which would be good because Turco can only play in the regular season, no playoff ice time for him because he was signed after the trade deadline.

Personally, I think the guy should just call it off this season and ramp up for next year. But, good on him and the Pens if I'm wrong and he can remain healthy when/if he comes back this year.

What's so funny? The pond I played on a bunch of times last year has only been usable for about a week this winter.

Well if the Kings miss the playoffs, Deano & Burke can go golfing together and talk about how they got canned.

Best joke of the day.

Riddle me this domcha, why would Holland want to quit working for the best owner in pro sports, jump to the most dysfunctional organization in hockey, give up his US citizenship and happy family in the D, pay 5 times more for the same equivalent home?

You get a nice city, we get a good hockey club, see it all evens out that way.

Moogs on the other hand has to suffer through a mediocre hockey club, fake boobs, smog, traffic jams, mudslides, canyon fires, earthquakes, gang warfare, Linsdsay Lohan and Paris Hilton all for what?

The Kogi truck - at least he's got that.
