Um, dom...Seriously. The Hawks spot your team a 3-1 lead and WTFBBQ. Leaves trying their best Hawks losing streak impression or something?

I haven't seen the Leafs play that well in a month. (Yes, that well for the Leafs) So the Hawks must really, really suck...

BTW - at Crawford getting the hook after 1.

Dunno if you could really blame the guy for any of the 3 goals he let in.

At what point does it become the goalies responsibility for you exactly?

If Yumchah was coach the net would be empty and he'd have a 6th attacker on at all times.

Sorry

Sorry
You are still focused on purely numbers and not what you see. Let me ask you something: was Grant Fuhr a goalie despite somewhat higher numbers?

I did not watch the game as I was on a flight but did catch the highlights on www.nhl.com. All 3 goals Crawford let in yesterday were because of poor play in front of him. How can he stop a deflection or a rebound goal where if there was adequate play, it would not have gone in?

After the 1st, the numbers show Chicago turned it up a notch and reduced Toronto's shots on goal as well as possession in their territory. Emery getting the call was a wake-up call that worked.

Anyhow, whatever...if you are that obsessed with proving me wrong, so be it. I stand by what I'm saying and at least cannot be accused of being contradictory.

Grant Fuhr was one of the worst goaltenders L.A. ever had.

Beachball was the worst.

Circa Edmonton Oilers version.

And I could care less about Corey Crawford honestly. My favorite Hawks players are known by you guys (i.e. Toews; and no, not Kane). But, I'm just trying to be objective in pointing out that Crawford is not as terrible as his numbers. That is all.

The stats show that Crawford was horrible for 20 minutes
Emery did his job well for 40 minutes.

Well, pick your poison: your team can't get the puck into the others' net; my team can't keep the puck out of its own net.

Look at the current standings, and look at the teams schedules, and you will see how Poo is out of his mind.

New to me.

Found it on failblog, funny thing is haven't looked at that site in eons and for some reason looked just the other day and saw that posted.

domcha, you should bring back the brown bag. Your team was winning earlier in the season when you were still sporting it. Instead of booing Burke/Wilson or the teams effort, think I may have discovered what's got your teams poor mojo. Leaves need to change their yoga instructor.

really Colorado you go 4 and 0 scoring a ton of goals in those 4 games and then get shut out by Columbus of all teams.

IKings current plus/minus for D-men

Slava Voynov — plus-7
Willie Mitchell — plus-6
Drew Doughty and Davis Drewiske — even
Matt Greene and Rob Scuderi — minus-1
Alec Martinez — minus-5
(Jack Johnson — minus-12)

Why did the Blue Jackets want Jack?
Conspiracy theorists say they wanted somebody else...but were told

I wonder who?

Even if the team and its play didn't change one bit. Not sure how you can disagree with that? Crawford isn't getting the job done, end of story.

What is debatable is whether they can win the Cup with Crawford.....I guess they can IF the team play improves immensely. But again, a better goalie makes it easier on everyone. That point cannot be argued, sorry.
Yuuuuup,

Coming from a Flames fan, if it wasnt for Kipper we would be an AHL team.

I think our GM Jay Feaster responded last week (After the 6-1 pounding from the Oilers) to everyone saying that the Flames should blow up the team for more youth was......."Well if we get rid of Kipper we will be worse than 30th.....and there are only 30 teams in the league".
