For a guy coming back from a concussion it will be either a very good or very stupid test.

Rangers rarely blow anyone out - most of their games are really close with either 1 or 2 goal differentials. They could be buried in the middle of the pack if not for some games that went their way at the last moment this season.

Down 4-1 and win 5-4 in SO. Was a sick goal by Hendricks to win it!

With the way the Caps have played, I'll take this. They didn't give up, which has been a trait this year.

What are you people reading one word of my posts then deciding what I said from that one word?

Again, I never said the Rangers were the best team, I never said they were good at scoring goals, I never said they were dominant, hell I never even said they were any good at Hockey at all. All I said was they were the toughest team, toughest in the literal sense of "tough". They will hammer the shit out of you with body checks and fights. If there was a stat for how many bruises you gave your opponents per game, the Ranger would probably be leading the league.

I'm not worried about Sid getting another concussion from the Rangers scoring goals, that doesn't make any sense at all. I'd be worried about him taking check after check until his brain got bounced around too much in his skull.

Kings: Since the Carter trade...
9 games played...(6-3-0 with a +11 goal differential)

Blue Jackets....enjoy Jack Minus Forever Johnson.

Hey Jack, your "replacement" on defense scored another goal last night
2 goals in 2 games.

I was agreeing with you - I am a Rangers fan and I don't think they are THAT dominant...but yes, they are a tough team

His offensive ability going this far South would only makes sense if he was on the Kings.

And if Sid can stay healthy, the Pens are now the team to beat out of the East. And likely the top contender for the Cup.

Not exactly the best time to be slumping...but, hey, still at least a couple of weeks to iron out their issues.

I am very surprised at how bad they have tailed off, having lundqvist out sick doesn't help them either

Yeah - a lot of defensive break downs lately and they don't seem to have the energy they used to have. Of course Del Zotto has been out and Callahan has also been out.

Even with Henrik in net last night I still think they would've lost

I think any team playing the pens last night with a returning Crosby, Letang and Martin, would have lost last night

Malkin did his thing. I love to watch such skill play.

Rangers... what can I say, my gf took away my remotes and anything else near by that I can toss at the TV. They've tried too much to compensate for Lundqvist's absence, thus leaving Biron to fend for himself with an open net. Nasty.
