I'm sure Burke might be willing to trade a bag of pucks for Little Schenn...because he is such a bust!

Burke already went on the air saying his #1 goal is to get a top-line C...I'm guessing Richards is going to be given a big bag of money.

Well, they will have about 13-15 mill in cap space. Although I hope they don't spend it on Richards.

Little Schenn was assigned to Manchester.

I think Deano did the right thing....no need to burn a year just for this years "potential" one round and out playoff.

This kids future with L.A. will be big.

Well, that's enough for 2-3 good players.

Should be interesting what Burke does.

Not a very good free agent crop. Trades will be the way to get it done.

Why so quick to change Av's Yummy. Give the guy credit. His performance last night earned a least a few hours as your avatar.

And honestly, I've seen better. He had a relatively easy night...he was solid, that's for sure. But, he didn't steal the game.

I get it now. You're just anti 'Big Name Goalie'.

Funny How well Niemi is playing this year isn't it.

But, Niemi is a no-name.

I'm not worried...Crawford is a more than adequate replacement.

Put it this way: Hawks won't lose the series because of Crawford...It would be because their depth is gone and so was the physical play of the peeps who were let go (Ladd, Byfuglien, Eager, Burish/Fraser, etc.)...

Oops...I'm being myopic again, aren't I...?

MORE PROOF you weren't reading last years argument! We were making the point that young Cup winning goalies typically went on to have solid careers. Looks like Niemi may fall into that category. Just sayin...

But, you guys were harping and ridiculing me about how Chicago should trade for a Roloson or Vokoun.

I kept insisting Niemi was fine; but because I said that, I was told to "put down the bong" and was "myopic" or something along those lines.

That was Moog. I think we've established I don't know what myopic means so I wouldn't use it in a post.

And it went alittle deeper than that Yumchah, it was never just about get another goalie. It was more about stats that supported needing an experienced 'big-name' goalie.

Can't believe we're getting into this again. And its funny how Chicago went out and got that somewhat big name goalie (Turco) only to have him ride the Pine.

Well, that sorta supported my point that you don't need a "big-name" goalie in the NHL these days.

All I was saying was that Chicago didn't need one last year...and this year, they still don't need one.
