Quick must not be in net. The Sharks would've been shutout...

But, seriously...WTF. I thought the Kings had this game iced...I turned it off when it was 4-1!

And also, aside from all the goonage you have in the 3rd and 4th line in Cheapshot Torres, Lapierre, Glass, et al, if the Sedins are negated, what is available to score...? Goonage does not win playoff games...sorry. Maybe a few in the regular season.

Kesler sure is racking up those points in the playoffs, isn't he...? He tried to emulate Toews the Conn Smyther during the off-season but he forgot to emulate the point production too in the playoffs.

Too bad Bolland came back 3 games too late.

You stay classy Yummy. Sore loser much?

Funny how you mention the cheap shots when it was the Hawks who specifically dressed a pure goon for game 3.

I didn't use profanity.

And honestly, I don't believe you watch the games. Firstly, Chicago added Scott (who, I believe is useless) to add some size and physicality because in the 3 defeats, they were hit out of the building by Vancouver.

Adding him also was to keep cheapshot artists like Torres, Lapierre, Burrows, et al honest. And how is there much gooning if Vancouver out-PIMed Chicago 2-1 yesterday? They had 60-something compared to Chicago with 30.

He'll be here soon enough to rant about the uselessness that is known as Dustin Penner.

I mentioned back when he was traded to LA that they would regret it because he was the laziest player on the ice for the Oilers...and voila, the guy's laziness gave the Sharks a nice PP and he was also on the ice for the game-winner.

goes to Penner...

Wow, dude...it's one game. You make it sound like your team is down 3 games to zip.

LA just needs to make some adjustments, forget about the last game, and move on. It's far from over...

I hope Deano is smart enough to launch Penner into orbit after this season though.

You don't come back from a series where you handed the other team their wins.
....and the second one in an infamous fashion.

Well, I did pick SJ over your Kings because I thought they had better depth and the loss of Kopitar would be too big.

Still, I think the Kings can make it a series. The mistakes they made can be changed and momentum is a funny thing in the playoffs and can often swing on one play...

If you want hopeless, cheer for my Hawks. They won a game but it won't delay their inevitable defeat by the Nucks.

I'm no but I'm pretty sure by winning that game they have delayed their inevitable defeat. Had they lost that game, they would have already been defeated. See that's the way it works in the playoffs, you gotta win 4. By winning that one game, they kept the Canucks at 3. Theoretically, if the Hawks can win one game 3 more times before the Canucks win one game 1 more time, the inevitable defeat won't be inevitable at all. From what I understand, if that were to happen it gets classified as a "Cinderella Story."

Let the AZ hockey chime in on their verdict.....watch the slow-mo at the end of the clip: Did the puck:

A) cross the goal line (as in went completely under the cross bar...resulting in "crossing the goal line.

or

B) hit the cross bar, and bounced onto the crease.

I'm guessing it went in when it was still airborne after hitting the cross-bar.

Irrelevant, I suppose. The fact they let SJ come back from 4-0 is the bigger story.

The only thing listed on NHL.com's "situation room" from the last kings game was this.....

http://www.nhl.com/ice/blogpost.htm?id=756

Which is about a time clock discrepancy from the 1st period.

It was not reviewed (as in game was stopped).

As we are all told the Great Eye of Bettman in the land of Toronto reviews all things and sees all things.

Sure looks like this one never went in.

I have not seen an overhead shot, but I can't see how from this angle it went in.
