...and there you have it.....as predicted.

When Kopitar was out for the season, the writing was on the wall for a short post season.

Give credit to the Kings for pushing the Sharks to the brink many times in the series, but in the end they never had the knock-out punch.

The kids will learn and grow from this. Kings will make a big trade for offense in the off season.....Little Schenn will be in the line-up on opening day......Quick is truly one of the best goaltenders in the league.....the future is bright.


....and listen kids.....when you get handed a gift wrapped with a pretty teal bow of a 5 minute major penalty in the playoffs with the game tied (which BTW was a joke call...that was no major penalty) you better score at least one goal.....when you don't....you will loose the game....and rightfully so.

I'm just hoping he's too humiliated and depressed to show his face around here anymore. Afterall, his hero 'Captain 1 goal in 7 games' only bothered to show up for the last 2 minutes of a 7 game series. And his team was beat by a 'name brand' goalie and Marian 'I don't get paid in the playoffs' Hossa pulled yet another April - June vanishing act.

I just hope he sticks to the NBA thread from here on out. Until his Bulls choke of course. Then I'll ban him.
